“The things you see, when you open your eyes” Gun Roswell

Things you find

Buy me!

In the window of a
Shop, something made me suddenly stop, an
Odd little thing, flapping, in

The window, made of plastic
It looked so sad, and I was just glad
I found it before anyone

Else. Rushing into the store
I wasn’t so sure, if I even
Had money with me to

Buy the tiny little thing
But as I looked at it, it
Made my poor heart sing

So I pulled out my
Card, not so smart, alas I had
To buy that pink thing!

Things you find

Blue passage

A door way painted in
The coolest blue, heavily guarded it is
Not, alas, a key you

Need to get inside, into
The divine, which lies behind, the door
Painted all in coolest blue

But if the key you
Manage to find, then consider this an
Invite for you, then enter

Do, you are the few
Allowed to see, what lies behind the
Door painted in coolest blue

Things you find

Back to the drawing board

When planning infrastructure for the
Masses, a seemingly easy task to do
Go out there and put

Up a pole, make sure
You have enough wire, to get the
Electricity crackling for all those

Who are in dire need
Other wise your favourite TV show will
Not be shown on the

Tiny black box on top
Of the table in your living room
And the cold cool drink

Will turn up in the
Kitchen sink, tasting bland because it’s hot
And not a cooling beverage

After all, and what about
That fan on the window sill, do
You feel ill, too hot

Because it won’t turn on
For someone forgot to plan electricity for
Your dwelling of a home

Sundays I one

“Sundays, yes, those fun days” Gun Roswell

Sundays

Fine dining on a Sunday

When the Sunday beckons, it
Is time to reckon, take a rest
Let someone else, put the

Plates on the table, server
The meals as you sit in peace
Letting the Sunday mood wash

All over your face, a
Smile no less, wasn’t too difficult to
Express, especially since the sun

Is shining so warm and
Bright, shades worn outside, but under the
Cooling shade, that’s just fine

November mornings I three

November mornings x3

New friends

A friend made out of wood
In the middle of the floor stood
Dressed only in a red cap
I could not help but stare at that

It did not say much to me
As I stated hello, you see
It is made of material other
Than myself were

But that was just fine
Sometimes silence is divine
And then, sharing a cup of coffee
With a small biscotti

November mornings x3

Moonlight sky

The pale sky in the morning
At the time of everyone yawning
The moon popped up for a try
Taking it’s chances against the sun
Maybe, today, it could shine

All day long against the blue skies
Only fluffy clouds to dive behind
No sun could be heard or seen
But alas, the light was still bright

The moon did it’s job well today
And now it can until the ever stay
Even past the night
It can shine ever so bright

November mornings x3

Misty morning

Before the sun is rising
Before anyone else is walking
Before people are even talking
Before I could start hawking

The suburbia is still sleeping
The misty moist is seeping
In to the slowness of the morning
And today, there may be no dawning

Like any other day in November
Be prepared for all kinds of weather
Maybe the sun will shine later on
But before that, you gotta be strong

Arches and entrance I three

“Step into my parlor, through the arch way…” Gun Roswell

Arches and entrances

Mysterious and inviting for an
Adventure awaiting at the top of the
Stairs or maybe walk down

And find another door way
But please, just try, as it is
Human nature, to explore the

Great unknown, no matter what
Awaits on the other side, that is
The part which is fine

Arches and entrances

Charming,old school, flowers and
Pots, together they are stocked, in front
Of the windows and doors

An inviting arch way, a door
To the garden, to enjoy some time
With a cooling drink, away

From the scorching sun shine
Just for a moment, before time to
Hit the long road again

“Step into my parlor, through the arch way…” Gun Roswell

Arches and entrances

Blue way, in to the
Ocean waves, an arch way, a portal
To other lands, other places

Walk through it, walk on
The water’s surface, feel the cool blue
Under your feet, that tingling

Sensation, when embarking in to
The great unknown adventure, in to the
Past and into the future
