“Go ahead, tip your toe in
It’s all right,
I won’t bite
Much, anyway!”

“Just stand under the neon lights, and you will feel like a star”
Mirror Mirror
“Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who’s the prettiest flower of them all?”
The dried out husk of a once luscious flower the mirror asked
The mirror looked bored and tired of always hearing the same old question
Looking back into the shriveling plant, it responded
“Do you want to hear the truth, or just some more lies?”
Without as much of a thought, the plant responded
“Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.
After all, those are the ones I want to hear.”
The mirror responded in frustration, but still, who was it to argue
“Fine: you are the prettiest of the all!
No die already and leave me alone!”

“Just stand under the neon lights, and you will feel like a star”
Killer Plant
“Feed me Seymour, feed me”
The plant beckoned
With its tentacles out stretched
For only a second
Before the food I had fetched
Into its gaping mouth
My way I had found
“Oh, well, food is food”
I calmly stated
When I got digested
And the plant finally sated

“Just stand under the neon lights, and you will feel like a star”
On the Wall
A club in midtown?
No?
A bedroom in hometown
The music is blasting
The neighbours are gasping
Never mind their frown
Time for a showdown
We just got started
So, let’s have a party!

Seat Sunday 2016-05-01
“A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy?” Albert Einstein
Plastic
It’s plastic
It’s fantastic
Not too charismatic
Nor dramatic
Just,
Take a seat
Lift up your feat
And enjoy the heat

“When all candles be out, all cats be grey” John Heywood
The Dame and the White Cat (Caturday) Part One
The dame with her white cat
Stepped in for a quick chat
Sat down and whisked off her hat
Ordered a coffee with milk non-fat
“Good evening dearie”
She said leering
“Nice weather we are having this evening”
That was all she said
Her conversation dropping dead
Just quietly sipping the beverage
As if looking for a leverage
I stood there staring
The silence more than unbearing
Wondering ‘what or who was this stranger
Were we all in danger?’
As if reading my mind
The lady put down the cup
And finally looked up
And with smile made of kind
She stated matter of factually
“I need more cats!”
As ipso facto, this was actually
A store, where one could purchase such things
