Red seat in the middle of nowhere much?

“A red seat? In the middle of the field? What in the world is going on in there?” Gun Roswell

Red seat in the middle of nowhere much?

The red colour immediately spotted, like a big bold dot it was, setup in the middle of the green grass, against the solid and a totally dull painted wall, guess, someone thought it would be a blast, and the joke would sometime at least last.

But, getting past that single fact that it might have started as a prank, and then really thinking about the possibility of having a cool coloured respite in the middle of such ugly shit, well, that might just turn out to be the much needed hit!

So, try it out, and if you feel it’s perfect for your derrière, the fit, the colour, the comfort, even the ambiance, then do give out a shout, as others might enjoy this perfect seat out here in the middle of the field, set against the old wall, which will never down fall.

Because the red spot out there in the middle of nowhere much, can so totally be seen from far away, even from space and hey, that is the best advertisement for to pay.

Green and a Seat

“Take a load off on a Sunday on the Green Seat, even if it might not fit” Gun Roswell

Green and a Seat

The Sunday is once again upon us, like some lurking fiend waiting for the bus.
It is a slow and gentle time, which for most can be simply good and all fine.
But for those with a permanent fire lit up their asses, it can feel like harassment.
As they need to calm the hell down and if possible, take it easy and finally, sit down!
Something, which may never become easy for them, but then again, we are not all built the same.
Still, if and when the decision is made, to take a break for once and be all the same.
Then take a seat, take a load off, stop the huff and puff and simply enjoy the calm day.
After all, tomorrow, just may, be filled with all kinds of things to sort out and forget the play.
So, maybe Sunday wasted, wasn’t all that wasted, rather a moment where inhaling was allowed.
And for that very reason, simply laying about, can always be a good thing, for recharging.
Even if it is done on a way too small seat, painted all in green.

The tallest spot for a seat

“A seat on the tallest mountain, nearby the fountain, is the bench where I usually like to sit on a sunny Sunday” Gun Roswell

The tallest spot for a seat

Usually, the Sunday, is reserved for all kinds of fun, but the truth being told, on this particular day, the only thing that is on my mind, is simple rest and relaxation of a special kind. But for that I need to find, the perfect spot, the best on the dot, a bench somewhere overlooking the world, or at least, most of the closest known city where undisturbed I can sit  and watch, all the people spending their much earned leisure, their precious time, which is all totally fine.

Why, would be the proper question placed here.

Well, guess, because I feel lazy, and also a bit hazy, of the world around me, too much going on all the time, and while mostly it is just fine, today, I am not as strong, and there is nothing wrong, in wanting to take a break and sitting down, this time around. Because I really need my peace and quite, even if I am there in spirit, watching the others having their fun, but today I don’t have to play or run, only to sit down, do absolutely nothing and calm myself without any kind of doubt.

On the Sunny Side, of the Bench

“Sunny or not, I am seated on the day of Sunday” Gun Roswell

On the Sunny Side, of the Bench

On the sunny side of the bench
No option of getting drenched
Enjoying the long, warming rays
In these unworried and lazy days

Before the days are done
Soaking in the healing sun
With closed eyes this moment
Like an image in my mind burnt

A Perfect Bench to Sit On

“I don’t generally like running.
I believe in training by rising gently up and down from the bench”
Satchel Paige

A Perfect Bench to Sit On

I was looking for
A bench to sit on
What I hoped to score
Something close to a lawn
To lay my tired self
On a softer shelf

Then I saw it
The bench, made of stone
When I tried to sit
I felt it to my bones
Too hard for a fit!

Moving forward
I found one, made of wood
Maybe it wasn’t hard
Rather suitably good
Too soft for a fit!

So once again
I had to complain
But I knew, the right seat
Was just in reach
I just had to seek

A little while longer
As I moved along
The feeling now stronger
I knew it wouldn’t be long
I was close to finding
As I saw the metal shining

I finally found it
A bench made of metal
For me to sit
Soft as a petal
A purr-fect fit

Seated in a cafe on a Sunday

A small cafe in Paris just around the corner hidden away from prying eyes“
Gun Roswell

Seated in a cafe on a Sunday

Sunday and a cup of coffee, a perfect combination for the brief time allotted
Sneaking away, stealing time from it all just for a few precious moments
As this was supposed to be the one day, which is the day of some time off
Alas, something came up, as it usually does and the chances growing slim
But luckily there is a perfect kind of spot, hidden around the corner just off
The busy streets where the cats sleep, at least on a sunny day on Sunday
Alas not today, as everyone seems to be gone completely somewhere else
As soon as the small cafe coming to view I can see that not even a few or one
Patrons are present so I guess it is only for me myself and I so seating down
My frown turning upside down, yes it is a smile which away has been a while
But not today as now I can here alone with my thoughts for a moment stay
In this pleasurable place on this fine Sunday afternoon on a seat in a cafe

Seated for Seat Sunday

“You better be seated in tight, strapped in and ready to begin, as seat Sunday has finally arrived!” Gun Roswell

Seated for Seat Sunday

No matter the mode of the seat, because when you feel the heat and not just for the summer on repeated a wave of the same kid, you better hurry up and that greatest of spots try to find, as seat Sunday has definitely arrived! Indeed, showing up with a seated jive and we all know it’s definitely time for a smashing high five!

Better get the one which suits you best, the most comfortable one yet. No matter if you have it to buy, borrow or steal, it’s the matter of feel, against your derrière for real. So do not hesitate because soon it will be too late as Sunday will be gone and on a Monday? Well, sitting around may just be a great big ugly bore.

Maybe you even had a chance to bring your own seat, the one which rides on wheels. And from that fine throne of sorts, you will never have to be brought up and about from. Rather going everywhere and anywhere on this fine sunny day of a Sunday, is the true definition of a well spent and languidly spent awesome seat Sunday.

Seated in blue

“The perfect moment of the day for a respite in blue, on the chair that is“ Gun Roswell

Seated in blue

When the day, working or otherwise is finally done, it is time to have a brief breather, a break. A divider from the planned chores and the hassle of it all, to the quite and calm of the evening, for just a moment doing something completely different and out of the character maybe just acting on a feeling.

The venture to the hidden corners of the streets, into the alleyways deep, and find that small and unmanned spot, where nothing is perfect and just a little off. The cantina only open for a two or more hours and known only by a few patrons, inviting and mostly quite, painted all in the calming and cool blue hues.

This place where invitations are scarce and valid for the limited time, but that is just fine as the time spent there is totally divine. Why? Well, you will know when you get the invitation, use it without hesitation and find out for yourself what it really feels like to be seated in the coolest of joints, in the calming of blue.

On the sunny side, getting fried, in the sun

“The sun is fun, as long as it’s not too hot or bright and shining all the time or well, hell, I wish it would rain already!“ Gun Roswell

On the sunny side, getting fried, in the sun

The bench beckoned I reckoned as I was tired of all that trotting around as what ever I thought there was to be found, well it wasn’t all that. So, looking for a place to sit, and then it hit me. Out there in the warming sun I could bask the rest of the afternoon, as the skies were the colour of cool blues and the wind was, well, there. It was warm but at least that beat a weather filled with storm any time. Taking a leap of faith, literally as I did jump the few feet to reach the unoccupied bench there in the middle of the street. Not really the street but close by on the side walk empty and waiting for me to sit down and loose that suddenly risen frown. There, I sat on my tired ass and it was all good and fine at least for a while. But then, after a moment of shedding all the load of the running rampant day, it hit me. Literally, it hit me. The heat so strong I felt like I was cooking and then looking around and up and down, I could see there were absolutely no clouds to be seen. Only the blues in the skies, as clear was the place and the sun, well, it was even bigger and brighter than I had remembered while running amok out there. Sweat pouring from each and every single piece of skin on my body and I suspected the insides were drowning too. Wherever it was coming from, I blamed the sun, as this was far from fun. Being fried like a shrimp on the barbie on the sunny side of the street or all over the place, as there really was no shade anywhere to be found. Well, maybe if I went underground. So, there I was unable to move and slowly getting cooked, cursing my faith and wishing it would finally rain!

Sitting by the Sea

“What else is there to do on a sunny day but to sit on its rays?” Gun Roswell

Sitting by the Sea

Waves washing gently the shores, where the small pebbles of rocks are stored. The birds high up in the blue skies screeching, about to take a deep dive. The fish swimming away, trying to keep the hungry gulls at bay. Boats leaving the harbour for the day, as the workers onboard need to bring home a good display of the catch sometimes causing dismay. All and all, a regular sunny day by the seashore never a bore, and definitely it something of a chore to sit here lazily and maybe once in a while, snore.

I, myself am too lazy, of doing anything but. Seated on this perfect reflection point on my very own butt. The day quite warm and wind none too hazy, what else is there for my kind of person except to sit here and at the sea be gazing. After all, I am a mere observer of life, even here, beside the ocean wide and if I am lucky enough, all the happenings I here today see, will make me smile. Otherwise, I can simply come back again tomorrow early morn’ and be on the lookout for something more.
