December Moon, Part Five

Welcome,
To the dark side
Of the moon

They promised
Strong coffee
With an option
Of cream

Half way there
Gave me a scare
What if
There was
No sugar?
Oh bugger!

So what
Coffee black
Is just
As good!

December Moon, Part Four

Echoes of the past
Echoes of the future
Time is moving fast
No later than sooner

Up high
In the sky
Total bliss
When time is
Standing still
If you blink
Even a wink
The moment
Passed you by
Oh how
Time flies

“Look, the moon boss, the moon!”

December moon
You came so soon
Where did you go?
We were looking for you
Already a month ago
Here you are
Shining bright
Did you go far?
Never mind,
You are always
Such a delight!

Quote a Week Tuesday, 2015-12-01

Posted in A Quote a Week Tuesday
& In honour of the month of December

quote

If it’s December 1941 in Casablanca, what time is it in New York?” Howard E. Koch

Quote a Week Tuesday, 2015-12-01

This week’s Tuesday quote seemed appropriate for the occasion. After all, today is December first, and just yesterday, it was summer, oh what a bummer?

Time flies when you are having fun?
Or is it just another pun?
Hoping to see the sun
Even though it’s December one

Hello-december-image-quote

“How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before its afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness how the time has flown. How did it get so late so soon?”
Dr. Seuss

Last Day of November

In honour of the month of November

“So. Monday. We meet again. We will never be friends—but maybe we can move past our mutual enmity toward a more-positive partnership.” Julio Alexi Genao

Last Day of November

Last day of November
Wishing it was still September
Or at least a snowy day in December

Rain, rain, rain
Some more rain
Feelings of mundane
Starting to sink in
Dull, dark, dreary
Nature somewhat eerie
The sun coming out rarely
Hanging in there barely

Last ones of leaves
In the barest of trees
Holding on for dear life
Existence one big strife

Then, something unexpected
When you least expected
A beam of light reflected
On the dark surface

Could it be?
Is it possibly…
Sunlight?

Amore

Oh L’amour
The word itself, pure glamour

Love
If it fits like a glove
Like the two proverbial doves
On a branch busy at tweet
Generating more heat
Than a red glowing stove

Love knows no gender
Love knows no age
Love is always tender
Love knows no hate
