“I like to make the mundane fabulous whenever I can”

Pavement

Lights reflected
Onto the pavement
Making a statement
Before disappearing
Into the basement

Red Bike

Ride, ride, ride the red bike
Gently down the road
Because it’s frozen winter time
And it’s a slippery slope!

Seats for Leisure for Seat Sunday (two)

 Seats for Leisure

Sitting,
By the waters
Dreaming,
Of sunken treasure

 Seats for Leisure

Sit down,
And feel the pleasure
In the seats,
Made for leisure

The 3rd Advent (two)

“Maybe Christmas, the Grinch thought,
doesn’t come from a store”
Dr. Seuss

The 3rd Advent

…In the end
After some time spent
The agreement said

“You can have three days off
Provided, they are on a weekend
No more time to spend
On any celebration
Or there will be hell to bend!”

So now, if you listen closely
The celebration still goes on, but quietly
Under the bridges and behind closed doors
Some say, they even roast s’mores

Guess the lesson learnt
Is: do not get burnt
But celebrate you can
If you don’t give damn
Even if shit hits the fan!

The 3rd Advent

At the tone of the bell’s ding
The celebrations are about to begin
Even the grumpiest of them all begins to sing
All the crowd begins to swing

Nothing will stop the celebration
So come along, bring your dalmatian
Let’s spread the cheer across the nation
So hop on the train before it leaves the station

But hold on to your horses
Says the person cautious
Before we can actually endorse this
We need to talk to our bosses

All bundled up and no where to go
Well, guess I’ll just take it slow
Let my minions do my bidding
After all, it is only fitting
The hooman made me take the bath
While little me, splashing and helpless, she just laughed
Now, let’s see who laughs last!

It was broken when we got here?

“I didn’t do it
Nobody saw me do it
Can’t prove anything…

(the canine pointing at the feline)

The cat did it!”
