Simply, Red

“I have always been caught by the pull of the unremarkable, by the easily missed, infinitely nourishing beauty of the mundane.”
― Tana French, Broken Harbor

Simply, Red

Simple, should be the word
Yet so easily slurred
But, for any kind of mundane day
When all the colours, are just grey
Then with one simple touch of red
You will be, unravelling, the thread

Simplicity

“There is nothing wrong with being simple, living simple and expecting only simple things to happen” Gun Roswell

Simplicity

Reflected, on to the side wall
A simple, darkened, shadow so tall
The black figure really contrasted
As against to wall, it is plastered
When the afternoon light, ever so bright
Shines upon the statuesque tree, quite tight
And so is, the simple tall tree
For everyone’s eyes to really see
The beauty of it now visible
When before it seemed so neglectable
Definitely, quite photogenic now
As it came to life in this moment somehow
The simple tree of a trunk
Now has everyone on watching on the ground
Until such time the sun will go down
And the tall willowy, simple tree
Into the darkness of the night will flee

Trio (Haiku)

“None too even, are they” Gun Roswell

Trio

The on in the middle
Clearly the leader, with soldiers on side
Do not mess with history!

Simply Blue

Simple, with blue
Some red in the view
A blurry object
Nothing too perfect
Just something caught in a frame
And for that, you have me to blame
