Snowflakes

“Snowflakes are falling down” Gun Roswell

Snowflakes

Tiny little things
Fragile, but they sing
A harmonious song
All of them singing along
As they venture way down
On to the solid ground
There is a soft thud
But nothing heard aloud
Piling on top of each other
Forming a blanket tether
Strong enough to walk on
Completing this monotonous song
Until such time the snowfall
Starts another round
And the circle continues
Until it’s time to loose
To the warmth of sunshine

“Wintery day,
On my horse
A frozen shadow.”

Feathery Flecks

Still pretty never the less
Like a princess’ dress
In an icy press
Quite the nature’s success

Feathery Flecks

After the frozen night
When finally came light
Little feathery flecks
Against the window pressed

Feathery Flecks

Forming and reforming
Sitting pretty, performing
My boring window adorning
But way too soon
To water transforming

“I think you can find all the elements that you can find in great literature in mundane experiences” Harvey Pekar

Is it a smoke?
Is it a gun?
Is it a pipe?

It does not poke
It’s not even fun
It’s just a hype

It’s a piece of art
