“The snow doesn’t give a soft white damn whom it touches.” ― E.E. Cummings
Fluffy, Soft, White (Daily Photo 2016-01-10)
Fluffy, soft and white
In the softest of light
Tiny jewels flickering
Waking the slumbering
Into a bright white blossom
In the snow as light as cotton

“On my way here I passed a local cinema and it turned out you were expecting me after all, for the billboards read: The Mummy Returns.” Margaret Thatcher
Snow Mummies
Uncovered from the snow
In the dark night they glow
Small black stones for eyes
Only afraid of the sunrise
Melting their worst enemy
Cold weather the only remedy
Sitting pretty for now
Until the earth they will bow

“Mondays are mundane, like Tuesdays minus 24 hours. ”
Snowy Day
Snow on the ground
And everywhere found
Even the angel got drowned
And now wearing a frown

Snow Cats (Daily Photo 2016-02-07)
“Speak no evil
See no evil
Hear no evil”
Made
Out of snow
Maybe
Just for show
The three snow cats
Are having
A silent chat
As the time flies
The three little spies
Are watching passers-by
Wondering why
They all are
In such a hurry
The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Optimistic
This week show us something you’re optimistic about, or perhaps a talisman that helps you stay positive and hopeful, regardless of what life (and the weather!) throws your way.

“The biggest emotion in creation is the bridge to optimism” Brian May
Optimistic (The Daily Post) Four
Winter?
So what!
I don’t care!
I am feeling
Quite optimistic
Riding my bike
Sitting on a bench
So what if it snows
It’s almost June!

Optimistic (The Daily Post) Two
Sunshine on a winter’s day
The nature’s showing a halo
The cold and snow to fade
And soon, it will be May

Optimistic (The Daily Post) One
Living, breathing, growing
Even if it is still snowing
Bending not breaking
Sometimes shaking
But soon it will be warm
After the cold and storm

Down the Hill (Daily Photo)
When ever there is snow on the ground
And a small mountain or a molehill found
The kids will arrive in flocks
Dragging their sleighs to the top
“Mommy, mommy, look at me!
Look how fast I am going!
Oops, look, there’s a tree!”
<Crash, bang, boing>
“Mommy, mommy, look no teeth!”
The kid only laughingly stated
As back up hill he ventured
If only to once more ride
Before getting his dentures
