The re-appearing moon

“The moon is out again, then does’t it appear every single night? Wait a minute, does it ever go away? Really?” Gun Roswell

The re-appearing moon

The moon is hanging out there against the darkness of the skies

At least it looks like that, when looking out the window in the middle of the night

It always seems to be appearing, out of nowhere after sunset

And usually, looming there way past the night, well, perhaps changing position somewhat

But, the moon half or full, crescent or nonsense? I dunno the rhyme

It’s all fine as long as the moon graces us with its presence

To boldly go, where no Woman, has gone before

…As the flight progresses
I feel less stressed
What ever awaits me
It only can be
Something wonderful
And most magical

To boldly go
Where no
Woman
Where no one
Has gone
Before

To boldly go, where no Woman, has gone before

Cosmos,
The final
Frontier
So far
And yet
So near

Entering the spaceship
Ready for a long trip
Going to Mars?
Or even farther beyond?
Following the stars
Over the magic pond

Through the window
Feelings of alone
One trail of thought
As the mental guide
Trying not to get caught

Out of this world

“Is it of alien origin?” Gun Roswell

Out of this world

An object of unknown origin
Maybe, quite possibly, a life form
Sparkling electricity, most likely, out of necessity
But, when I touched it, it went away
Oh, sparkling little life form, why did you not stay?

Shortest of Tales for Throwback Thursday

On Thursdays we walk down memory lane and dig deeply into the archives of Rantings Of A Third Kind. For these posts, I have chosen some of my personal favourites. Some of them may tickle the funny bone, some even provoke thoughts and some of them will give you a view of the world in photographs taken by yours truly.

This week, the archives have brought forth the shortest of tales, and really odd ones at that! Enjoy!

Once there was a Man (Shortest of Tales Collection) (TBT)
