“The judge told me to approach the bench. We were in a park”Jarod Kintz,

Painted Red

The only bright spot
In the entire parking lot
In the midst of suburbia
Causing a minor hysteria
The colour of reddest red
Some say, it joy may spread

Carefully trying to sit
Just to see, if it is a fit
After I little while
I started to smile
The colour seemed to be
A perfect choice for me

And soon enough…
As far as the eye could see
All the red painted seats
Were occupied to the extreme

There is something to be said
Of the colour red
It never leaves you cold
Yes, and I too was sold

Sunrise

In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present” Francis Bacon

Suburban Rise and Fall

Between the early morning hours
And day light’s end
A sunrise most gorgeous
Into the setting of sun will blend

Red

Seeing red?
Hoping for something else instead?
What can I say
I like to play
Red is red is red
Maybe you should have stayed in bed
So like it or not
Here are the shots

Middle of the Road

Middle-of-the-Road (DAYTWO)

“When I’m in New York, I just want to walk down the street and feel this thing, like I’m in a movie” Ryan Adams

Middle of the Road

Not quite the main street of San Francisco
Certainly not the hippest lane in Seoul
It’s just a quaint itty-bitty place called Espoo
Right in the middle of nowhere
Somewhere
Near the North Pole

Sunrise over Suburbia

Sunrise-over-Suburbia--(DAYONE)

“Home is where the heart is?”

Sunrise over Suburbia

The yellow sunrise above the rooftops
Residents slowly leaving for their jobs
When the last of them away have run
And silence has taken over the fun
Another week in Suburbia has begun

Moon and Sun

Early morning blue skies
With the crescent moon up high
The sun soon to be rising
Both of them each other sizing
Neither of them compromising
Soon enough, two bright lights
Shining up in the skies

Winter 11

“Now is the winter of our discontent” Richard III, William Shakespeare

Nightfall

Soft white lights
In the middle of the night
All have taken flight
From the silent street
Not even a tweet
From the lonely parakeet

After all,
It’s no ball
In the middle of
Winter
