It’s meal time
But, the table
Is not fine
Lots of stuff
Laying about
With a huff
Giving a shout

Get here
Ass in tow
Clear your grime!”
“Didn’t you hear the chime?
It’s nearly din din time,
And, my patience
Is running low
And, as far as I know
These ‘antiques’
Are just for show”
“So,
Unless you got
Something eatable
In that pot
Off with the lot
I have to put
Some grub
On the table!”

Sit down
