“The nature soon going to sleep, the August ending, the Summer ending, enjoy it while it’s still alive and well!” Gun Roswell
The last warm days Before the cold rains It is time to prepare But do not despair Summer may be ending The nature surely changing Soon it will be autumn But the colours Will be awesome
“By the seaside, near the ocean open wide, cannot help but smile” Gun Roswell
When the soaring sun beckons outside It’s time to pack a rucksack and head into the open wide To really enjoy what nature has to offer Even if it is just a few hours to go for
So out and about, a smile on your face Get out there and find your happy place Whether be it the forest or the open seas There is really no place rather to be
Than out there, somewhere, to be present In the here and now, maybe even meeting with a cow Spend the time with a friend Because you’ll never know, when the time ends
“Gorgeous little critters aren’t they, all dressed in the most fanciest of reds, with dots on them!” Gun Roswell
In the middle of summer,, all kinds of loud hummers will fly you by But the one most likely candidate which will surely make you smile Is the one born in the bright red colour and a dozen dots on its back And that simple fact, makes this tiny bug, one of the most prettiest It’s not just out of a jest, that this red one wins the buggy contest Simply look at it, the perfection of its armoury, as it looks quite adoring A true winner of miss nature, being one of the prettiest of bug creatures So, giving the kudos and crown toggle one whom one the great title Even if it was simply sitting pretty, posing for the camera set on idle So, do salute the red clad lady bug, whenever you might her closely pass Sitting pretty on a flower or a long lush green leaf for the duration of summer And do hurry, as this pretty thing, can only be seen during the long months Of warmth and fun, May, June, July and August, maybe even longer Depending whether the weather might remain mildly warmer in the fall
“The summer is the best time to get to the beach and enjoy the sunshine with the calming waves, nature and all that!” Gun Roswell
I still remember That one September The bluest of skies And it was warmer than July The water clear and inviting The air soft and delighting Not a worry in sight Everything quite right In the distance For an instance A boat or two Disappearing from the view Most tourists already gone Leaving us alone Enjoying in peace With a short lease The last rays of summer
“Something about nature, so calming and gorgeous, you never want to go back inside again?” Gun Roswell
Sitting on a swing Not worrying about a thing Enjoying the simple life Without a stinger or a strife The air almost like silk Time slowly passing by Not one trouble in sight
Observing, watching, looking What is nearby cooking
The hedgehog sipping it’s milk The squirrel with it’s tail high A bird gliding in mid flight The flowers in the wind crooking
The clouds hanging softly in the sky Exhaling, letting out a sigh The last rays of sun on the skin What a perfect fin For a July summer’s day The grass in a gentle sway
“Sometimes, more often so these days not, the kid in me jumps forward and straight into the puddle!” Gun Roswell
Overflowing with water Are the puddles after rain Leaving many and big a stain Where ever the water for a while remains
Jumping, jumping, jumping out of joy Like a kid again, shouting loudly”Ahoy!” Splashing water all around Everywhere , all over the ground
September may be the month of rain Causing the summer lovers a lot of pain But, luckily, the season of sun will come again So keeping on puddle jumping until then
“They’re nature’s way of giving you the notion of time, the bells made of flowers, ringing, every single hour (except if there is no wind)” Gun Roswell
Slay bells a ringing? It’s summer time: Can’t touch this…
Purple flowers, They are totally gorgeous Telling the time? Perhaps not
