World Wide Wednesday in Lanzarote

closed-quarters-1

“It is better to travel well than to arrive” Buddha

Closed Quarters

What secrets are installed
Behind the tall white walls
Tourists having a ball?
Children playing with dolls?
The great match of baseball?
Or even the great falls?
Maybe some spaghetti and meatballs?
You won’t know,
Until this number you’ll call!

Ready for my Close-Up!

Vibrant sun reddened leaves
Slowly in the wind to heave
And most colourful patterns
In the air will weave

Poolside

Early hours in the morning
The water warm and inviting
The turquoise by the sun lightened
No use the urge fighting
Just jump in and enjoy it!

Bathtub View

“Welcome to our humble house”
The sign said
As I lazily in the bathtub laid
Of course I was the one who paid
But it was well worth every cent

World Wide Wednesday in Lanzarote

sun-up-1

“It is better to travel well than to arrive” Buddha

Sun’s Up!

“The sun is up!”
The loudspeaker informed
Got up in a huff and puff
Shedding my sleep uniform
Glance out the window
And my mind was blown
There was no doubt
I let out a shout
Vacation time had begun
Time for some fun!

Find a Respite

After all the exploration
You might need a safe haven
A little time for reflection
Of the days events taken

Smell the Flowers

While in the wild
Who knows what you can find
Pretty flowers
Some of them one of a kind

Step Outside

Do not
In the shadows hide
Rather go
For a stroll
On the wild side

Velogatti

The people stood and stared
The driver just waved and glared
Proud of his shiny white steed

“Is it a bike?
Is it a car?
No,
It’s a Velogatti,
A bike for the smart-ty!”

Is quite determined
To frolic in the garden
