Kos Island Part 4

As we arrived in the quaint little fishing village, we were greeted by the hustle and bustle of the villagers and tourists alike. Many a shops selling products from near and far. Knickknacks and touristy stuff among local produce, such as sponges and luffas. Wine and Olive Oil but also fine jewelry.

After a busy morning spent in the shops, lunch in the many restaurants by the beach boulevard was a welcome break. After a heavy duty fish related meal, ice coffee with small sugary pasties and then back on the road for a little sightseeing before heading back.

All and all, a day well spent, with plenty of memories accumulated in forms of tale and picture snaps! Definitely something to “instagram” back home 😉

“Good morning campers!
Today we have a special trip booked just for you!”

“Where are we going?”

“Our ship is set to sail, towards the Kos Island and namely, the village of Kardamena.
So hold on to your hats and let the winds be on our backs!”

“Never been there!”

“Me neither: hope they have some coffee there, because I just managed one cup at breakfast!”

“Sure they do: There are many many wonderful cafes by the seashore!”

Fisherman

Fisherman keeps fishing
The water’s depth dishing
Not a moment of the day missing
When he keeps on fishing

Winter Cottage

Buried deep in snow
When the hard winds blow
Life going very slow
Time quicker will not flow
Then all you can say is:
“Doh!”

Garden Memories

A cliché shot
Is what I got
From the summer this year
Remembering, now that winter is near
Wishing it was summer
But oh bummer
We still have several months
So just enjoy the scones
And something warm to drink
Let the memories sink
And sooner than later
The image from paper
Will turn to reality!
