Waiting

Important meeting to decide one’s fate?
Maybe a secret hideaway, for a coffee date?
Watching, waiting, by the gate
Why, oh why is my destiny late?

Empty Seats

Finally, the storm has passed
The remaining overcast
Will not for long last
Moving on, is our goal
After all, it is good for our soul
And faster and faster, we stroll

When it Rains…

When it rains, it possibly pours
How to find a shelter outdoors?
Behold, a wonderful escape
In a shape of a cafe
By the beautiful Esplanade
Soon, sitting, coffee enjoying
Carefully watching
Life and passersby flowing
And the sunshine washing
The rainy clouds away

“You know, from my point of view, I’m the luckiest cat on the planet” Hugh Hefner

For Caturday

Cats, cats, cats
I see a lots of cats
Cats over there
And cats over here
Even more cats
They are everywhere

Oh, look at the pretty cat
In the window there
What window, where?
Over there, over here
Even more cats
They are everywhere

Silhouettes for SL-Week

Decrypted

“Truth is like silhouette, it keeps appearing along with light, it can’t be camouflaged for ever.” Chandrababu V.S.

Dog Decrypted

“Right” said Fred
As the dog he fed
Sighting the alphabet
Landing in letter zed

“Let’s follow this thread”
He pointed at the wire red
But the thread, turned to infrared
Soon enough, they were all encrypted

The dog, as they had dread
Was the master instead
Stood there shaking its head:
“They should have all stayed in bed”

Strike-a-Pose-

Strike a Pose

Time for the daily doze
To loosen your clothes
And rise up on your toes
Remember to elevate your nose
Slowly your posture grows
When doing it like the pros

Someone playing the bongos
You feel quite composed
Showing the others how it goes
Never mind the highs and lows
Because now, all time slows
When you strike that pose

Analogue Wheel

The wheels on the wagon
Are no match for a dragon
Fire would soon burn
But until that time,
The wheels will continue to churn

Tick-tock, tick-tock
Retorted the clock
As he was slowly waiting
For time to stop

“Coffee: the finest organic suspension ever devised. It’s got me through the worst of the last three years. I beat the Borg with it.”

Coffee for Throwback Thursday

On Thursdays we walk down memory lane and dig deeply into the archives of Rantings Of A Third Kind. For these posts, I have chosen some of my personal favourites. Some of them may tickle the funny bone, some even provoke thoughts and some of them will give you a view of the world in photographs taken by yours truly.

This weeks archives are dedicated to the most finest organic suspension ever devised: Coffee!
So, sit down, relax, and enjoy a cup or few 😉
