Weekly Photo Breakdown

sunrise-1

“Photography is a kind of virtual reality, and it helps if you can create the illusion of being in an interesting world” Steven Pinker

Sunrise

Wake up!
The sun is rising
Red sky mesmerizing
The only thing to do
Is to shut up,
And enjoy the fun

You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars” Gary Allan

The Dark Side of the Crescent Moon

In the darkness
Of the silent night
Staring into the blackness
With only guiding light
The crescent moon
Eyes fully tuned
Watching each step
So not to misstep
From the narrow road
With a stride slowed
The dark side tempting
But towards the light bending
Which side will win
And paint your skin
With its mark

the-moon

“When a dog barks at the moon, then it is religion; but when he barks at strangers, it is patriotism” David Starr Jordan

Hidden Moon

Before the rising sun
Let’s have some fun
In the darkness of the night
Not a living soul in sight
In the moonlit sky
It is hard to deny
One’s true nature
Without any failure
Singing to a different tune
When howling at the moon

Posted in the Throwback Thursday weekly series
Poetry, photography, tales and things that nature!

moon-1

“Create around one at least a small circle where matters are arranged as one wants them to be” Anna Freud

Moon

Crescent moon
Full moon
A big white balloon
Wrapped up in a dark cocoon
Silence, the signature tune
Except,
When you are howling
At the moon

birdwatching-1

“It is better to travel well than to arrive” Buddha

Bird Watching

Tough little birdie
Maybe a little nerdie
In the storm’s eye watching
Hoping some flies be catching
The humans down below stalking
The birdie them mocking
Knowing the winds he’ll be dodging
While the humans away will be washing

hideaway-1

“It is better to travel well than to arrive” Buddha

Secret Hideaway

Known only for a few
So secret, believed not true
If everyone would have a clue
We all would soon be screwed 😉
