Share each Friday, on your own blog, one photo…or maybe even a gallery of some of your favorite photos that you have taken during the week, that make you smile or that was a great photo capturing opportunity…anything really! And as photographers are often known to say, “The best camera is, the one that you have with you!”

“The only photograph I regret, is the one I did not take”
Favourite Photo Friday, 2015 Photo Breakdown (2016-01-01), London, England
Happy 2016 Everyone!
Those of you snapping pix, know this to be a tedious task, since to be honest, they are all favourites of the moments they were taken, why else would you have shoot them in the first place, right? Trying to limit the number to just one or two photos is difficult for any post, but trying my best here from the several thousand photos shot and posted during 2015 😉
For this week’s Favourite Photo Friday posts, I have decided to walk through 2015 and choose a few of my most favourite ones during the coming weeks. Hope you are having some fun during the walk down memory lane of 2015 in photographs!
And, as the quote says: “The only photograph I regret, is the one I did not take”.
For this particular post, I have chosen two taken in England, London.
Continuing on the travel theme, more 2015 favourites in parts two, three, four and five.
Go and check them out!
Enjoy!

World Wide Wednesday Presents: London, Part Two
Over the rooftops
To the hustle and bustle
Of the streets of London
In just a few hops
A few old castles
And a famous dungeon
Hop on a bus
Without much fuss
Follow the lines
And you’ll be fine
Eyes wide open
Seeing more than hoping
In the evening
You are dreaming
Of how much more
The next day has in store

“I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train” Oscar Wilde
World Wide Wednesday Presents: London, Part One
Rain, rain, rain
Running down the drain
Around in the City of London
Without the feeling of boredom
Too many things to see
Face lit up with a glee
Never mind the sad bad weather
My skin is made of thick leather
A few raindrops do not harm
Even a little storm
Won’t keep me away
From the London sway

“Tragedy is a close-up; comedy a long shot” Buster Keaton
Quote a Week Tuesday, 2015-12-29
Today’s quote often comes to my mind, when I try to write my tales with a comedic twist.
“Dying is easy, comedy is hard” is supposedly a death bed quote attributed to character actor Edmund Gwenn.
When director and screenwriter George Seaton visited Gwenn as he lay in bed ill, George Seaton said to Gwenn “This must be terribly difficult for you.” Edmund Gwenn is supposed to have replied:
“Dying is easy, comedy is hard”

Time Out (Seat Sunday)
Sitting silently
Watching
People pass by
I ama
Out of time
Floating
In a bubble
As I am sitting
On my bench
Watching
Life happen
Trying
Not to flinch

I am soft
But I have thorns
I feel pretty
In my pink colours
I am hard
Watch out!
Better not land
On my rocks
