A few Lillies of the Valley

“They are well hidden, deep in the forest for none to find, yet here, look, I did find them!” Gun Roswell

As the summer wind softly blows
The delicate white bells glow
From the sunlight’s reflection
You can almost see, the perfection

White as in Winter only Spring?

“It’s blinding like the light supposedly bright, brought on by the sun as the spring has sprung? Poetic, perhaps, but it seems the winter still longer will last.” Gun Roswell

White as in Winter only Spring?

Whiter than white
The blanket so tight
Woven onto the ground
And into our minds

Yes it’s winter?
But wasn’t it supposed to be spring?
Oh joy!?

(She says sarcastically
What she means really)

Quite the splinter
And a clever ploy!

More snow pouring down
Even if it was supposed to have calmed down
Weeks ago!

First it was nice
Now it seems
You are staying
Just of spite?
Or making a comeback
Every Fortnite?

Simply Adorable – Just Flowers

“It’s summer again, all of a sudden, all the nature green and lush, kind of a surprise, as having been dwelling in the darkened rooms for the duration of spring, it was really something, to see the images, oh, real life! Well, just go figure that one out!“ Gun Roswell

Simply Adorable – Just Flowers

Fluffy, soft, the odours alone, yeah, guess it’s that time of the year, when all the world, nature in particular is really ‘here’, present and not at all hidden, rather thriving and all over the place, everything is growing at the speed of light.

But yeah, it is summer so, guess it was bound to happen, even if this small thing, did not see it coming! Still, enjoying it while it lasts at least, in small bouts and with the odd snap to the memory adding for it longer to last!

Snow on the water!

“Not smoke or fire, but pure snow, on the water!“ Gun Roswell

Snow on the water!

It looked like a field of sorts, with an island in the middle of it all. It could have been used for crops or even potatoes, which were already harvested, before the snow fall. But, it wasn’t that, no, this, used to be an open sea, with boats coming and going, and someone even did, some waterskiing here. But now, that snow, had covered it all, even if the fall time, had seemed so warm. Then, one night, it all froze over, in an instant almost, and as the flakes well, day after day after day, soon enough, nothing but the white stuff, could be seen for miles on end. But not all was lost, after all, you could still go out there on the ice and walk. Or, if you were daring enough, maybe put some skates on and do a little pirouette. After all, this was the season, of winter, and usually, snow would fall and the water would freeze during below zero temperatures. And this was, the lure, of a scenic wintry moment by the seaside with snow on the water.

Snow Too

Last remnants of summer
Forgot it’s time for slumber
It’s way past September
Look it up in the calendar
It says: January

Oh winter, oh winter
Don’t think I am bitter
But to be honest
I wish you to be gone-st
I really loved you at first
Now I am dying of thirst
Of a summer that is
So hear me please
And be gone!

“Donuts.
Is there anything they can’t do?”
– Matt Groening

Naturally made Doughnut

Mouth agape
For this round shape
But I won’t break
For its glorious taste

It wasn’t made out of paste
Not with sugar laced
As its round shape I traced
I knew, I would it embrace

Feeling spaced
My nemesis I faced
All inhibitions erased
And soon, I was in need, of toothpaste

Luminous

“To me, life, for all its privations,
is a luminous thing.
You have to risk it.”
Jeanette Winterson

Luminous

Illuminated
Elated
Dedicated
Awaited

Luminous things of nature
In this frozen portraiture
Not just a summer’s feature
But living, breathing creatures

Fated
Sacred
Created
Illuminated

Hanging Together

“Alone we can do so little;
together we can do so much”
Helen Keller

Hanging Together

Together, on this branch
Together, we all dance
Together, by chance
Together, has an advance
Together, us unlikely plants
Together, we will cause
The biggest avalanche…

…Well, at least, that’s the plan!
