“Windows and doors, fascinating!” Gun Roswell
Windows and doors
Out of place
A cottage here stays
In the midst of concrete
Windows with sills
A door, so worn
Tiny, little thing
I knock
No answer
I listen
Nothing
Must be lunch time
I leave
“Mondays without colour, what a drag!” Gun Roswell
Mundane on a Monday
Pink Window
Yesterdays reflected
From old discarded windows
An old shack
Once painted black
Now boasting, the colour pink
It’s an eye sore some say
But others, smile and
In front of it for a moment stay
It’s not useful anymore
Who knows what secrets
Within it are stored
But for now, the windows
And the doors
Remain locked of course
And maybe someday
You may find the key
Which unlocks them all

Curiouser and curiouser” Lewis Carroll
Through the Looking Glass
Through the looking glass
Life will quickly pass
Surfaces reflecting light
What a visual display in sight
A glimpse of an image
Transparent as the line of scrimmage
Moving fast and fading away
Only within imagination to stay

Day Seven: “Big” — A Point of View
Today, let’s go big. Photograph something of massive size, inside or outside. Get creative with your shot: Capture all or just part of the subject. Place it in the foreground so it takes up the entire frame. Or shoot it from afar so it appears smaller — yet still prominent.

Hardly qualified as a skyscraper
But with many a
Windows, doors and elevators
It’s easily a wannabe simulator
