Anticipation for the Daily Post

Lift-Off

With growing anticipation
Waiting to leave this station
Without any hesitation
Travelling across the nation
In one big celebration

But…

“What is the hold up?
We are ready for lift off!”

Finding a Safe Harbour

Sailing, at sea
Is the place to be
But when the storm rises
You may end up in crisis
Unless, a safe harbour in time
You are lucky, to find

Blue on Blue

“Nothing but blue skies,
From now on”

Was the message of the song
Nope, you did not hear me wrong
Just stay strong
Summer and blue skies,
Will soon come along

Rays of the Sun

From behind the darkest of grey
The light source, found it’s way
Happiness, riding down in a sleigh
On a heavenly, highway

The Glow

“Peek-a-boo
I see you!”

Said,
The little ray of sun
As she came down
For some fun

“Are you looking for someone?”

Asked,
The palm
But remained calm
Despite the touch of sun
Feeling like balm

The ray of sun smiled
And replied,

“I’m here to play
But cannot too long stay
If there is one thing I have learnt
Things do get burnt
If I remain too long
Because no one
Is that strong”

“That’s cool,
And I’m no fool
I went to school!
And, if it gets too hot
I can dip in the pool”

The palm responded
And before too long
The two, had bonded

Something strange?
Something scary?
Is the world, about to change?
Better get ready!

“Conundrum: A fun word to repeat over and over again when no one’s listening.
Actual meaning is as puzzling as the need to chant the word.”
― Richelle E. Goodrich

The Puzzle

If you want to solve this puzzle
Just flex your little muscles
Maybe do a little shuffle
Then blow a few bubbles
If you end up in trouble
A few steps back stumble
Do not try to hustle
Skip across the puddle
Let out a small chuckle
Loosen that belt buckle
There; now you solved the puzzle

Which way Out?

Cannot find your way out?
When in doubt
Stand tall and be proud
Then, shout out
Really, really loud:
“HELP!”

The Meaning of Life?

To crack this code
Follow the winding road
When you reach the dead end
Just press the button
Which says “DECODE”
If you get on overload
Guess it’s time to move abroad

Conundrum for the Daily Post

A mystery, a riddle, even a puzzle
They all add up, to life’s little conundrums
Try to solve them, if you can without a hustle
If you can’t, don’t worry,
Just say, you are really, really sorry
And move along

The Bricklayer

Trying to find
That answer for the grind
Try brick number five
If you win, give yourself a high five
If you loose,
Then simply another choose
