Rocking Chair
Adventuring up the stairs
To see what’s hidden in the lair
What did my little eyes spy
A blast from the past
In front of me lie
Gramma’s rocking chair!

When it’s time, for a treat
Just relax, enjoy, take a deep breath
Sit down, in a rocking, spa seat
Neat!

For the afternoon nap
Has fallen all of the cat
Into comfortable bundle

My Pillow
Just leave me be
And let me sleep
As I’ve already rested
My tired little head
In this biggest of beds
Onto this softest of pillows
Dreaming peacefully
Of climbing the tallest willow

Feet Up
As I lay in this pose
My tummy exposed
Hope none to impose
“Rub my tummy, mummy
Or I will overload!”

Quite flexibly
As fallen I have

Sleeping Guard
Sleeping on the guard duty
Is this sleeping beauty
Try to wake her up
And she will be quite snooty
