In focus or out of focus
It’s a little bit of hocus-pocus
Is this, the vision of one thing blurry?
Or something extraordinary?
No matter how you focus
Only one thing, is flawless
You see, the complete fuzziness
Is part of our trickery business
Look in to the photograph
Imagine your eye a spectrograph
The longer you stare
Something else appears
Like magic, the unclear
Becomes now very clear
Look even more deep
And you find, what you seek

Cats, dogs and ladies
All live under the same roof
A gentle mix of meows and woofs
Added with some ifs, buts and maybes
A playful sparring match
For the appetite to catch
Before dinner time calls
And they arrive on all fours
What we can all agree upon
Is a comfortable seat to cuddle on
All gathering into the same spot
All together tight as a knot

One cup of coffee, black
Laced, with a little bit of cognac
Will cure the worst insomniac
Second cup of coffee, black
With a sugary doughnut stacked
Watch out for that heart attack!
The third cup of coffee, black
Now you are on the inside track
From this point on, there is no turning back
The fourth and more cup of coffee, all black
You watched the mirrors crack
As you passed them by with a high heels clack
A few more cups of coffee later, all black
Sitting in a comfy chair, laid back
Fast speed story telling, to your favourite quack
