Nightfall with darkness
Spread like a shroud
Late at night
In mid flight
Safe and sound
Into a tiny seat bound…

My poor little cabby
You looked a little shabby
When the man in uniform
Wanted to check how you perform
Up into the air hoisted
Light to all places pointed
Every nook and crannie
Last but not least, your fanny
Inspected, suspected, subjected
Finally accepted and approved
With a grinn on your grill
Because I got stuck with the bill
But happily paid the dues
And out into the traffic we flew

Ode to My Little Car
It was a tiny little thing
Not the prettiest of the lot
The name had a soft ring
Almost like a plot
Fiesta…
Siesta…
Round and round in paces
Could see the look on others faces
‘Surely that is not the car to buy’
‘To her money she would kiss goodbye’
Trying it on for size I did
Smiling like a little kid
Spite what others may have though
This car was surely bought
It wasn’t quite what expected
Less is not more, had to respect it
Tempted by a car with muscle
The salesman tried to hustle
Something made me turn to look
The little car had gotten me hooked
Back and forth I went
Trying not to get bent
It was calling me I could hear
Trying hard not to get near
But
Fear not
Reason won in the end
After all
The muscle car was too tall
And lets face it
I got hitched
The tiny car was kin
All is well in the end
Lesson learned: Think big, buy small!

Happy 2016 Everyone!
Those of you snapping pix, know this to be a tedious task, since to be honest, they are all favourites of the moments they were taken, why else would you have shoot them in the first place, right? Trying to limit the number to just one or two photos is difficult for any post, but trying my best here from the several thousand photos shot and posted during 2015 😉
For this particular post, I have chosen two taken in England, London.
