“See me waving ‘see ya later’ as I disappear over the horizon” Crocodile Dundee
Walkabout
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall
Never a moment too bad for a stroll
Do not the weather use
As a poor, poor excuse
Unpack your wellingtons
Unhide your dancing shoes
Into to the wide world venture
Whether walking, running or dancing
Might even do a little prancing
Your life soon a great adventure
“One must maintain a little bit of summer, even in the middle of winter” Henry David Thoreau
One more day of Summer
One more day of Summer
Before you start to slumber
Your mood turn to a bummer
But today,
Clothes down to thin
The sun rays on your skin
It’s truly no big sin
To enjoy while it lasts
The warm days soon will pass
And Fall will get here very fast

“A bad day in London is still better than a good day anywhere else”
Around the World in Black and White Presents: London in the Rain
Rain, rain, rain
Running down the drain
Around in the City of London
Without the feeling of boredom
Too many things to see
Face lit up with a glee
Never mind the sad bad weather
My skin is made of thick leather
A few raindrops do not harm
Even a little storm
Won’t keep me away
From the London sway
Poetry and Photography
“No art is less spontaneous than mine. What I do is the result of reflection and the study of the great masters” Edgar Degas
Reflections
Reflections on the glass
May be too hard to pass
Imagination running rampant
Trying to catch a fragment
Of the alternate universe
A life on the reverse
A mirror image
A line of scrimmage
Aren’t you too curious
Of what ever glorious
Adventures lie ahead

SL-WEEK 9: School
On our way to school
Like any good kid should
But
Hope nobody noticed
We went into hiding instead
Today we are playing hookey
Eating all the cookies
While everyone else is away

“Becoming fearless isn’t the point. That’s impossible. It’s learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it” Veronica Roth, Divergent
‘CAMERA LUCIDA’ – DIVERGENT
First I was broken
Unable to walk, run or dance
Putting on high heels
Next to impossible
Now it feels
More and more possible
For a second chance
And the world wide open
Photography and Poetry
“Don’t take your toys inside just because it’s raining” Cher
Don’t blame it on the rain
When it rains, it pours
Thunder and lightning
Can be oh so frightning
But don’t run indoors
Yourself into hiding
It can be fun outside
Even if you won’t stay dried
It may be raining
But nothing staining
Just enjoy the ride

Photo Rehab The Clinic: Week 35 Wrap up
The Photo Rehab is a great community to share photos, learn new techniques, discover new talents, and connect.
In December 2014, after completing the Photo101 course, I opened the Photo Rehab Event in this blog, a ‘healing clinic’, for all of us who love photography (hobbyists, amateurs, pro-shooters and enthusiasts) who missed the course and daily interaction with other photobloggers.
Check out all the magnificent photographs for this week:

Homage to Amanda Tapping, Happy 50th Birthday!
Blonde or brunette
Appearing on my TV set
Mainly the brainy one
But still, lots of fun
Stargate or Sanctuary
Quite the imaginary
Outwitted MacGyver
For that a high fiver
Actor, Director, Producer
You really are no looser
Activist and plain ol’ Mom
You still da bomb
Happy Fiftieth Birthday!
