“I haven’t been everywhere but it’s on my list.” – Susan Sontag
Around the World in Black and White, First Edition
On the busy streets of London
There is no time for boredom
While roaming the ancient ruins for Greece
Breathe and let the moment freeze
Sailing the gorgeous lakes in Italy
Watching the clouds filling the sky to affinity
Sightseeing, travelling or shopping
There is no time for stopping
Around the wide wide world
Me and my camera are hurled

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee and some more Coffee…
Since the dawn of time when humans first dropped down from the trees and started walking, their first trip must have been to the closest Starbucks for some coffee.
Remember the classic film “2001: A Space Odyssey” and first scene where the prehistoric man is bewildered when a big black block lands before him? What if instead of the monolith a giant cup of coffee would have landed? I think we would have evolved much faster and would be more advanced today if that would have been the case 😉

Sunrays
Trying to catch a glimpse
Of the last sun sparkles
Before they shrink
Into complete darkness

“Red is the ultimate cure for sadness” Bill Blass
Red
Seeing red?
Hoping for something else instead?
What can I say
I like to play
Red is red is red
Maybe you should have stayed in bed
So like it or not

“A day without sunshine is like, you know, night” Steve Martin
Peekaboo, I see You
Hey you, yellow dot
Up in the sky
Why are you trying to hide
Come on, shine through
And give us some hot
Give us the groove
I know you got
Plenty to share
So just dare
And let some warmth
Into our hearts
Before the storms
Show up for their parts

“A cloudless plain blue sky is like a flowerless garden” Terri Guillemet
Fire in the Sky
When the clock struck seven
High up in the heavens
The white, blue and yellow
Happily mixed together
Looking up at the skies
The vision burning my eyes
Painted in the colour red
Like the Almighty had bled
The horizon in full flame
Watching the complete frame
The sky was on fire
