“I drink maple syrup. Then I’m hyper so I just run around like crazy and work it all off”

As the colourful leaves
In the autumn wind heave…

Just hold your horses,
Still wear those short shorts
And sooner, than you believe
It will actually be Christmas Eve
Proper songs can be sung
And ornaments on branches hung

“Oh maple tree, oh maple tree,
Thy leaves are really changing…”

Sorry, wrong season, wrong song:
Better keep the singa-longs
In the time frame they belong 😉

“I like to turn things upside down, to watch pictures and situations from another perspective.”

World filled with wonder
In the beyond Yonder
A world which is upside down
A smile or an upside frown

Local Book Mobile for the Daily Post

“My perfect morning is spent drinking coffee,
eating porridge and reading the paper at a local café”
Anton du Beke

Local Book Mobile for the Daily Post

book-mobile-1

When you hear the sound of the wheels
As they slightly screech and squeal
A vehicle driving down the small road
All the kids are quickly up on their toes
Trying to get a glimpse of the nearing
Soon all their faces lit up and leering

The familiar sound of the tooting horn
Breaking the silence of the early morn’
The biggest of all the coaches
As the local book mobile approaches
Soon enough the children come a running
And started has the pushing and shoving

book-mobile-2

A little while later
Only the sound of paper
Rustling, as the books have found
A solid ground
In the hands of the readers
Truly, the books are mind feeders
