“I can’t imagine a day without coffee. I can’t imagine!”
Howard Schultz
Coffee with a Side Dish
A cup of coffee or a few
With a sweet side dish or two
A lifesaver for any day
Will keep all kinds of doctors away

“I now find magic in the mundane.
I’m also more creative –
better able to look beyond the obvious and
come up with new story angles.”
Deborah Norville
Spick & Spanned for Mundane Monday
All spick and spanned
The little vehicle in the colour of tan
Shiny and looking good
Like something store bought and new
Ready for the winter roads
Driving steady, as she goes!
Oh, and away got the snow dusted
Before the police busted!

Rear View Mirror for Mundane Monday
There must be an error
In the rear view mirror
Cannot see much clearer
If anything is coming nearer!

Caturday: Leader of the Pack
Won’t you look at that!
A true leader, of the pack
Maybe not as smart as cat
And sometimes, gets smacked
Boy, that really stung!
But, who ever said, that being a leader
Was ever easier
Than being just one of the gang

“If you must have motivation, think of your paycheck on Friday” Noel Coward
A Fabulous December Friday to One and All!
Enjoy
Today
Come
What may
Friday
Saturday
Or even Sunday
Everyday
Can be
A fun day
The setting sun
Mind on stun
Go and
Have some fun!
After all
It’s Friday
So let’s have
A ball!

“I’m not a Twitterer, I’m not a twerker,
I’m not a Facebooker, I’m not nothing.
I’m old school.”
Michael Jordan
Old School
What secrets lie
On the riverside
Maybe buried treasure
Or just people in leisure
Just a faded image
Painted for the vintage
A reminder
Of a desire
For the good old days
