Fluffy, huffy, white clouds in the sky

“Look up and what do you spy with your own eyes? Something cool? White and fluffy?” Gun Roswell

“I will huff and puff
Blow smoke until there is enough”
The little pipe scoffed
And blew more smoke
Up into the air

Above

Mountains below seem so low
When watching from my ivory tower down
Clouds as curtains I bow

Over cast

“Sun is shining no more” Gun Roswell

Over cast

It was so totally bright
The shiny object full of light
Now the clouds have taken over
Forming a four leaf clover
On top of the sun of shining
Completely it binding
Only a few rays remain
Struggling out of the frame
Some might say it’s exaggerating
That it’s only a slight over cast
But I reply they’re underestimating
As a bad storm front is about to blast
The skies open way too fast
And the, we’re all get drenched
And no more sunshine will get
Through those clouds wedged
Over the bright ball of light
So best give up this fight
And get the heck indeed

Over cast, my ass!

Black and white with some grey

“Those shady greys are everywhere” Gun Roswell

Black and white with some grey

The sky so gorgeous over my head
I cannot tear my sore eyes away

Despite this monochromatic view
I choose to stand here’s and drool

Painted images with black and white
Make a beautiful tableau of the skies
Lurking greys are in the shadows
But only for the effect as the wind blows

Even without colour the picture is so vivid
With my camera going quite livid
Palm trees and cloudy sun filled skies
This is the place where the true beauty lies

A Piece of Art against the Blue Skies

“There is just something about abstract art… I said there is something, not sure as to the what that something it is though!” Gun Roswell

A Piece of Art against the Blue Skies

The colours totally vivid, someone’s surely getting a headache, while staring too long at it!

But, it’s art, part of a famous exhibit so don’t go talking shit about it!

It looks like a head, or something similar, but never mind what it really depicts, because it can be anything and everything your heart might just desire.

And so, with that thought, simply stand there for a moment and admire, the work of an artist well known, already gone though, but its fine, as they left behind, a legacy of their own.

Cathedralesque

“Take a good look around you, there are lots of great experiences in the mundane world”
Gun Roswell

Cathedralesque

Not exactly a church to pray in
Nor a place to take a seat in silence
As all the people passing by
Make noises, some low, some quite high
But the feel of the space
Is nothing short of admiration to lay
Upon modern architecture used every day
Even the mundane comes to live
If you let your imagination fly high

Hanging from the ceiling or a trick?
The simple every day things hung up, quite slick!
The colourful bottles used for liquids consumed
At work, on the run or even with great food
The feeling of an artwork in a cathedral or a museum
Never fails to loose interest in something so awesome
The perception of the high in the room
Will make any onlooker soon to swoon
Here is where the mundane comes alive
And for me, myself and I, that is simply divine!

Rails in the Sky

Take a slow ride
Up, up in the sky
You know you want to
Go as high
As high as the sky
With the ride
The ride to the sky
