Monday aesthetic

“Nothing like a mundane Monday to notice the gorges objects around me” Gun Roswell

Monday aesthetic

The Monday may have started as totally mundane
But in my own mind I will try to make it a fun day
While looking around, from the tall skies to the very ground
There are so many fantastic things all over to be found
Making the mundane to something fabulous and and stuff of beauty
Makes me happy, smiling and I know I have filled my duty

Candlelight and Dinner

“There really is nothing more fabulous on a Mundane Monday, than a nicely set dinner, with some mood giving candlelight” Gun Roswell

Candlelight and Dinner

Even, if it may not be that special of a day, which comes at the end of the week, a Sunday
Still, dinner, in quite good company, great food and add to that , some candles shining the light
It can be most certainly, the very completely unexpected highlight
Of this odd day, which is, today, a very plain and totally mundane, Monday

Red Roses for Mundane Monday

“Almost every Monday I have a charity thing. I like that. I do” Yogi Berra

Red Roses

Roses are oh so very red
Violets can be the darkest of blues
But then again, so am I, so very divide
So try not so hard to mind
As this poem, is completely, out of any kind of rhyme

Mundane Monday Again

“It’s Monday again, Mundane Monday!” Gun Roswell

Mundane Monday Again

No matter if you are travelling or at home
There is always something mundane going on
During the first day of the week
You might not always really find what you seek
But look around what the world of mundane will bring
You may be surprised of the same old things
Look so much different depending of the mood or light
Some of them coming finally to life
There is art where you least expect it to be adored
Just grab your camera and a new attitude and go to explore
It may be Monday, that one specific day
We all love so much to hate, well, at least of it debate
Just call it the beginning of an interesting week to enjoy
Because Friday will get here sooner than you have time to shout:
“Ahoy!”

Pink Window

Yesterdays reflected
From old discarded windows
An old shack
Once painted black
Now boasting, the colour pink
It’s an eye sore some say
But others, smile and
In front of it for a moment stay
It’s not useful anymore
Who knows what secrets
Within it are stored
But for now, the windows
And the doors
Remain locked of course
And maybe someday
You may find the key
Which unlocks them all

Busy Bee

A red open flower tempted
The busy bee to relent
It’s flight in the middle of the day
And onto the open petals lay
Gathering all the nectarine it can find
Before back into its hive it will fly

But dear bee
Beware of the honey trap
Set to lure you in fact
And if you don’t soon fly away
You will forever in this flower
Trapped, remain

Bus stop Cafe

In the middle of drizzling rain
A coffee cup, left a small stain
On the table of a minimalistic cafe
In the middle of a heavy street traffic
An unusual place for a respite
Almost on the tracks of a tram to sit
But the colourfully painted frame
And the comfortable seats, can take the blame
Of wanting to take a break
A few moments the city’s dust to shake
Before continuing exploration
In this small town Scandinavian

Red House

The old-style house on the hill
Against the back drop it just chills
Never mind the construction
It has always avoided destruction
Sitting so pretty, in another wise (shitty)
New style concrete block environment
The red house is surely gets its adornment

A contrast, built to forever last
(Maybe some fixing needed, the owner admits)
But so cute, so rare
It must be spared!
The tiny red house on the hill with a mouse
And in this image still, it looks like the house
Made for Jack and Jill
(or Juliet and Jill or Jack and Gill, which ever you prefer)
For everyone really, in it to chill
So, come on in, have a coffee
They even server baked muffins with toffee!

Creepy Crawly

It was there, on the leaf
Against the sun, so difficult to see
But by accident it appeared
On the picture, so weird

A creepy crawly
On the day so balmy
But it’s part of nature
So really, do not hate her

All them creatures great and small
Are present from spring till fall
Sit down, enjoy them all
Soon enough, there will be snow!

Apple Tree

A seat so close
You can surely get a doze
Of the fragrancy of the tree
Filled with greenest of leaves
And fully blooming white flowers
Which might just have the power
To turn the gloom in to a boom
And bring forth the time of spring
And make this day of Monday
So much better than any other day!

> Then say with me; thank goodness, it’s Monday(?)
