What mysteries lie hidden at the very end of the long dark tunnel?

“There are always hidden treasures to be found, total mysteries to uncover, when daring to adventure thought the never ending tunnel, leading to places never discovered.” Gun Roswell

What mysteries lie hidden at the very end of the long dark tunnel?

Feeling ever so daring, with that whole feeling of getting, into the unexpected, the unknown

The mind and the body simply tingling, with total excitement they are both singing

Just because of the ever present and all around lurking danger

The expectations of finding something so odd, never before seen and special

But mostly, the not knowing of what really lies ahead, being reckless instead of safe

As is the curious mind, always on the prowl, to find, something else, than simply what is, the daily grind

Because what is life, without at least, a little piece of adventure?

Step inside

“The mysteries within the places to be found, where a tempting entrance beckons to step inside, do step right in if daring is the spirit within!“ Gun Roswell

Step inside

Step inside, do, step inside! And do hurry, as the divine is most hard to find!

And that is simply being kind, as mostly, there is nothing there to be found, no matter going round and around and even over it, there is no real fix!

But, if you are simply looking for an adventure, just for the sake of it, never giving a shit what you will or will not find while on it, then, do, step right in!

The somewhat covered entrance, on the small street without a sign to pinpoint its locale, a well, kept secret from ages past, as this place was a secret meant to last.

But once you get past the locks and bolts and the guard dogs, step right in, as it is time to let the adventure of a life time begin, or at least for this very moment in time!

And should you be so lucky, as to find a treasure, no matter it might measure, then perhaps, it wasn’t a waste of time after all?

Sighting Hill

“There is a lot of activity up them tall hills, be that from this planet here or maybe from somewhere else, who knows, but still quite interested in finding that out am I, so guess, it’s time to fly or hike, up that slippery slope of a hill” Gun Roswell

Sighting Hill

The hill up ahead, strong and bold, standing tall, right there in front of us, weary travellers, watching in awe as the stories told, coming alive right in front of us. The tales of myths recited of others coming to this place, some of them like us, some more exotic and from far away places. But whatever the case or rather the truth behind all the colourful tales told, most of us here now standing below, were already sold at well, at “this is an odd tale” kind of a pitch. So, taking a hike towards this gorgeous rock we, the adventurers never intend to stop, until reaching that very top and finding out for our very selves, whether these storied told are as true as those who did the sales. Soon enough, climbing up the very rocky face of the tall, tall hill, trying to reach the perfect spot to observe and take in, all the sights below and those, shown also from above, the skies, the space and all of it out there, which ever way eyes can see and ears can hear, all of it in front of us and then, maybe, if we are lucky, we will get to meet those other travellers, from the very beyond, and exchange stories of the Sighting Hill.

“When witches go riding,

the moon laughs and whispers,
‘tis near Halloween.”

Tales

3-a-cat-eyes

The cat hissed
Her tail totally frizzed
The witch loudly laughed
Stirring her brew with the wooden shaft
“Fear not, my furry kitten
It is not you who will be eaten
It is only the humans, who should be scared”
The witch said with an evil glare
For not many knew
Of the secret, reserved only for a few
The powers witches can share
For those really fair
So better be ware
Of all others take good care
Or at least your own litter
And maybe then
A little something for you the witches leave
Tonight, on all hallows eve

Monsters and Super Freaks

2-wicked-witch

Darkness surrounds me
In every corner do I see
Scary monsters lurking
Soon enough, freaking
Footfalls getting closer
I look over my shoulder
Fight or flight?
Did not even bring a knife

Picking up the pace
Looking for a hiding place
Nothing can be found
I turn around
Standing paralyzed
Totally petrified
Watching helplessly
Facing the enemy

Feeling hopeless
When a dark figure approaches
Scary Monsters, Super Freaks?
If lucky, geeks

Huffing and puffing
Its legs loudly scuffing
It stops in front of me
Looking at me, curiously
It’s mouth opening suddenly
With a voice leary
“Got a light deary?”

The Dame and the White Cat for Caturday

Posted in Caturday: Tale, Mystery and Humour

“When all candles be out, all cats be grey” John Heywood

The Dame and the White Cat for Caturday

The dame with her white cat
Stepped in for a quick chat
Sat down and whisked off her hat
Ordered a coffee with milk non-fat

“Good evening dearie”

She said leering

“Nice weather we are having this evening”

That was all she said
Her conversation dropping dead
Just quietly sipping the beverage
As if looking for a leverage

I stood there staring
The silence more than unbearing
Wondering ‘what or who was this stranger
Were we all in danger?’

As if reading my mind
The lady put down the cup
And finally looked up
And with smile made of kind

She stated matter of factually

“I need more cats!”

As ipso facto, this was actually
A store, where one could purchase such things
