“Any seat is a good one in the midst of all the heat to find just for a brief of a respite” Gun Roswell
A single seat?
Or one designed for two?
In this heat!
Who would ever want to be glued
To someone else’s skin
With clothes this thin???
“When on a long or short haul, sometimes, all you need is a place to rest for a moment, or few (preferably with a beverage)” Gun Roswell

Seats available at the station
Surprise!
Waiting for the bus for a trip
A vacation before next Monday?
Or so it seems
It’s either that or a bust!

“The beach, is empty? What is going on?” Gun Roswell
Finding an empty sun bed
On this tine beach end
Did not seem so difficult today
What a pleasant surprise, I said
As I hauled my weary ass
Off from the green grass
Into the middle of the sandy beach
Choosing the best seat
Laying my fat tired head
On to the sunny side bed
Finally enjoying the peace and quiet
As long as anyone will me let
“The best seat in the house, but it’s on the outside!” Gun Roswell
A snowy seat for the Sunday day
It may be cold outside
With lots of frosted snow
But as the sun comes from its hide
You need to take it slow
Take a seat for a while
Even if it’s not your style
And simply enjoy with a smile…
But, thank goodness: It’s almost summer now!???
(Just kidding! it’s not even Xmas yet!)

“Take a seat, on the little blue chair, it’s cool and neat, you can surely feel it” Gun Roswell
Blue and the Seat
As always, during the last day of the week
The Sunday, the sunny day, is always reserved for the time to seek
But, when the midday sun, gets way too hot
You know you need to find, that one special spot
Where you are able to rest for a moment
Hoping it’s not going to be too much of a torment
When trying to gain that much needed momentum
To be able to complete, the most fun filled excursion

“Take a load off, it’s Sunday after all, so a respite is a must” Gun Roswell
A seat in a cafe on a sunny Sunday
The crowds all but gone, during these times of change for us all. A cozy spot in the corner over there, awaited us. It was after all the perfect day, for a stop in a small cafe, just around the block. A good time for a quick, or even longer break, with a scone and some well deserved coffee. And as the day had proven to be filled with walking, and a lot of sightseeing as some might put it, this was the perfect ending with a reward so fit. So, taking the time off, of browsing the city’s each and every single spot, and fInding solace in the largest of coffee cups. After all, it was a sunny Sunday, and, a day of rest, and this seat, was certainly the best, in town, making whatever frown turn upside down. Surely, as it was meant.
“Seated in the cooling shade, on a sunny Sunday” Gun Roswell
A Cozy Seat for a Sunny Sunday
The times are changing, and the social distancing, is causing some hassle for those long and leisurely Sunday brunches, because taking unnecessary chances, is not in the cards on this day.
Alas, there are still some places, where the times have no effects on, those special and hidden corners of the undiscovered taverns remaining, where with care, someone might even dare, to make a reservation as there is always a room without hesitation and the continuing with a tradition as long as time itself, while having a happy reunion meal in the nook of a restaurant on this sunny Sunday afternoon in a most cozy and comfortable seat. And that is beating the odds and not admitting to defeat, no matter the times or the restricting forces out there while remaining in this retreat for a short while at least. And that in itself is just neat.

“There is always a need for a seat on a sunny Sunday day” Gun Roswell
Two seats for Sunday
Seats? On a Sunday? Are those really needed? Aren’t we just supposed to be sleeping in?
It’s a day of leisure just the same, so why, oh why, is there a need to get up, and run amok? When all of us, could just try to relax and take a load off, sleep, rest, lounger, until Monday raises its ugly head?
No, because it’s sunny outside, there in the open wild, so go, get, take a walk, and when tired, simply take a load off, on a seat somewhere on the streets.
As a Sunday is no excuse to simply sleep!
“The blue is calming, the blue is cool, the blue makes one feel soothed, sitting down and taking a load off, is a bonus” Gun Roswell
The Seat and the Cool Blue
The calm of the Sunday afternoon, is lulling the weary traveller to sleep, as while looking for the perfect spot, to lay down for a spell of a moment, just because, the heat of the summer was getting on, and so, taking a load off, was the best option.
Finding respite under the trees, the white and blue surroundings calming and soothing just enough, the breathing heavy from before, now much more even and so, before the evening descends, and it is time to return to sleep, the weary traveller can keep this seat, in a cafe so small, nobody else was able to see it, as only the lucky ones, daring to seek, had found the blues.
