Shiny pair of new shoes

“New day, new shiny shoes, new attitude!” Gun Roswell

Shiny pair of new shoes

They are shiny, they are new, they seem to be a really cool pair of shoes, something bought online, without testing, simply trusting they would be simply fine as they really, really looked so nice.

So, now today, is the first day to try them on, even if the feeling of putting them on, is giving some shivers, but luckily, they fit perfectly, even the laces were easy enough to use, as a zipper would have been better to use but still, no need to refuse them.

But now, the few strides have been done, the hold of the soles tested, and out there to world, well at least the nearest city, I will let myself go, maybe slow at first, then running if and where needed.

The new shoes having gotten me all excited and so, I will out there thrive, with new shoes and new attitude accompanying the ensemble.

If the Shoe Fits

“I like Cinderella, I really do. She has a good work ethic.
I appreciate a good, hard-working gal. And she likes shoes.
The fairy tale is all about the shoe at the end, and I’m a big shoe girl”
Amy Adams

The Evil Red Shoe Queen

“Mirror mirror on the wall
Am I still the evilest of them all?
And more precisely, are my shoes
The shiniest in the world?

The Red Shoe Queen demanded the mirror.

An image appeared into the mirror’s glass and with an evil grin responded:

“Undoubtedly, you are quite evil, my dearest Queen. But, there is another….”

The Queen stared at the mirror, wanting it to crack, from a mere look.

Little Red Riding Shoes

Meanwhile, in the deepest of forests, a young girl was on her way to the shoemakers house.

Hop, skip and a twirl,
Little Red Riding Shoes was about to hurl!
Too much fun, pardon the pun
Can cause a headache most foul
And make your stomach scream and growl!

 Ode to my Shiny Shoes

My shiny golden shoes
No time for the blues
Singing and dancing
In my shoes of fancy

My lovely golden shoes
Act as some kind of muse
They might be flashy
But I feel quite dashy

I may not be Howard Hughes
And I don’t need any booze
With minimal financing
I am out celebrating

Thank Goodness
For Fabulous Fridays!

Shoes on the Side

Posted in Daily Photo/Tales of Tiny

“You can never have too many pairs of shoes!”
Gun Roswell

Shoes on the Side

Shoes, are the essence of life
(it’s like breathing in and breathing out)

Shoes, will get you through a fight
(especially if you’re wearing stilettos)

Shoes, are never unkind
(unless you are breaking in a new pair! just remember to have band aid to spare!)

Shoes, will help you unwind
(those comfy old ones, you just did not dare to throw away)

Shoes, are always on my mind
(I wear them, I buy them, I store them, I admire them…)

Shoes, will alternately save mankind
(well it could not hurt if the world leaders talked about their new shiny shoes instead of all the nasty things that are going on, could it now!)

If you don’t have any shoes
Then snooze, you loose!
