Sliding across the surface in style

“The pretties of swans, a painting of sorts, even if it is really not, but just a zoomed out photo op, taken on the spot” Gun Roswell

Sliding across the surface in style

The majestic creature that is the swan, was seen suddenly to make a dive into the waters edge, the cameras ready, clicking away, as the bird made its case, for the onlookers, how much more better it was than any of the humans watching around, because it totally could, simply flap its wings and fly away, but not today, as the show was there, on for the benefit of those bi-peddled hoomans, who could never take flight, unless booking some tickets on a metallic creature they called a plane, something of a shame, at least in the mind of this swan, as flying and taking a deep dive, gliding on the waters, was so much fun!

Two Swans a Swimming

“The birds are singing, by the seashore, they’ll be swans a swimming” Gun Roswell

Two Swans a Swimming

The two of them happily swimming
As they are against each other leaning
They are a duo, a couple at the lake
Nothing about them, can be called fake

They mate together for a long life
Giving each other those swan like smiles
On the nearby pond this summer they will stay
Keeping humans form their offspring away

Some may say if you listen real careful
You can sometimes hear something graceful
The two swans softly a serenading
When the are each other, in the calmness praising

Whatcha looking at

Posted in Haiku

“Hey, you, are you looking at me?” Gun Roswell

Whatcha looking at

What the hell are you
Looking at? Is there something wrong in
The way I appear to

You? Would you want me
To change something in my appearance perhaps
Or just my face huh?

I don’t like people staring
I don’t enjoy them throwing food at
Me either, so stop now!

I am not a cow
But a really gorgeous Swan, you see
No? Just look at my

Reflection on the water’s surface
I am so damned good looking, no
One here in my kingdom

Dare to challenge me, or
Is it you, who will be the one?
Then I say: game on!
