Morning Light

“Catch the sunrise in the early morning hours” Gun Roswell

Morning Light

In the early morning hours
Waking up to the smell of flours
And after taking my shower
I head on to the harbour

It is still quite dark
As my bicycle I park
But after having thought smart
I got to a head start

While everyone else was sleeping
Of the sunlight powerful dreaming
I got to see the vision so extreme
Of the early morning light pristine

The sun slowly ascending
Behind the waters edge sending
Chills down my spine, as so splendid
The reflections of the rays trending

What a view for the day
I wish that I could longer stay
But as I slowly walk away
I feel the warmth and light on every sway

Elements

“Let’s get back to the basics” Gun Roswell

Elements

Cool turquoise waters under the scorching sun
The air as clear as blue, with a touch of fluff of white fun
The rocks and sand, together combine a mass of land
A touch of green, the grass purest you’ve ever seen

The smallest of atoms, forming some atolls
The colours blooming vivid, in the flowery livid
Sooner or later, masses start to form, into a uniform
Of sorts, for more solid beings, animals and humans, living

Until the palette is complete, then only, take a seat
And enjoy the tableau of it all, elements, creatures great and small
For without these elements, this place would be none
And soon enough, we would also loose, all the fun

Waterfalls

“Nothing calms you down, like the sound of water, unless, it’s a tsunami!” Gun Roswell

Waterfalls

The sunlight reflected from the tiny pebbles falling downward
Spiralling gently, forming a giant puddle, soon the land conquered
The tiny droplets drumming against any surface found
Making a smooth, yet very loud and jazzy like sound
Bursting vapour into the warm midday air
The passersby getting their fair share
The spread of the refreshing transparent liquid
Which is good for washing up and even to drink it
And when the inspiration strikes
To rip all the clothes of and naked into the water run wild
Never mind, no one will be unkind
As the hot weather strikes, you will have plenty of others joining the ride

Day in Spring

Secret Island

I am living
On a secret island
I just keep smiling
Thinking about
My tiny piece of land
No one can understand
Until they have landed
On this tiny
Place of sand
My land, my island

Tall Buildings

Tall buildings
Without guildings
Climbing them thrilling
Living in them fullfilling
Working in them chilling
So, there is no winning!

Day in Spring

The Spring Blues

Singing, the spring blues
It got spilled, on my shiny new shoes
The weather? I don’t have any clues
I am just sitting here, singing, the spring blues

Bike Ride in Spring

Go on a work strike
Grab the nearest bike
Take a long long hike

Spring time is here
Bet you thought it wasn’t very near
But have no fear
It’s time to cheer
And ride your bike with a leer!

Day in Spring

Spring Day

A sunny spring day
Nothing to it, just lay
In the pile of hay

Blue is the water
Be a sea otter
Dive into the sea
And be a water squatter

Today is the start of spring
It really begun on the bells’ ding
Now join the chorus and sing

“Oh sprint time
A merry time
I am feeling just fine
Now have some fun
Fun on a dime
It’s ok, it’s sprint time!”

Odd Shiny Objects

Objet D’Arts?
Or someone’s idea of smart?
Maybe a design flaw?
Without any courtesy to law?

Objects useful and pretty
Chosen by one or a committee
No matter, they look just fine, see
As the pictures are proving thee

Reflecting five

“Without deep reflection
one knows from daily life
that one exists for other people”
Albert Einstein

Reflecting

A tall glass building
May reflect a life gilded
But, it may be for show off or filming
Not something, to live in
