Scooter on the sidewalk

“Just pick and choose, which ever you may fancy!” Gun Roswell

Scooter on the sidewalk

The black and totally big thing, in that street corner, way over there
You really cannot help, but completely stop to stand and stare
It is so massive compared, to any previously seen bi-wheeled moped
Can you even be sure, that this, thing, can be called, a scooter?

If you are unsure, why don’t you just hop on and try it out and some time on it spend
You may end up liking it so much, you need to buy one for yourself in the end

Blue Moped Ride

“Take a ride on the wild side, with a blue moped, then add on a huge smile” Gun Roswell

Blue Moped Ride

A slow ride on the minimalistic size blue motorbike
Turned out to be surprisingly the most interesting hike
Hardly fitting my big fat lazy derrière on its seat
But got on it with effort anyway, as I would never admit defeat

My knees, totally bent, almost to the very hilt
I am sitting here, on this, very very,,, well, world’s most smallest of seats
With the wind and all them flies (who knows what else) in my face
Yes, truly this is, a most memorable stage

Riding along the slow and narrow streets at noon
Certainly, to the onlookers, I am way too funny, much like a buffoon
Cannot say I am very much enjoying the scenery
As the most of my concentration is used to keep the tiny bike steady

But like all good (or bad) experiences, which do not last long, my ride has ended
And I am really so glad, that all this time to have wasted
At least, in learning a lesson of sizes and even gravity
And some people should just stay on the other side of sanity

(Myself included ;P)

Choose your own kind of ride

“Take a ride on a bike, a moped or in a taxi!” Gun Roswell

Choose your own kind of ride

Choose, a cool city bike, for a simple days fare
Stroll around the place, to check out the monuments with flare
All around your eyes will search and then glare

Once you get the taste of the big busy city
Soon you’ll start feeling, really, really giddy
And before you realise it, time has gone in a jiffy

But, still, wanting to see it all
Even, if you have to stay, until the longest time of fall
Now, here you sit and are wishing, time would stall

If on a moped or even on a big motorbike you’ll dare
Don’t worry, there is really, no scare
Just remember to follow the safety rules, with utter care
And then, into the traffic, you’ll ride with flare

Oh, and don’t you worry, if all the people may stare
They’re just jealous, because of your fancy fare
Ride, ride, ride, the streets wide, narrow or bare
You’ll have a blast, going so totally fast, that you’ll even have some time to spare

If you’re feeling, completely lazy
After a trip here, soon enough so hazy
Then hop on a yellow taxi cab
Moving, slow or very, very fast

Depending, on your chosen destination
There is no need, for any kind of explanation
Enjoy the sights, from the oh so comfy seat
There is even a calling device, when too much heat

Soon, the city tour has been taken
Without even one short leg shaken

Driving Off to the Sunset (or somewhere)

“The cool kids, in their rides, all around down town, they fly” Gun Roswell

moped-1

Driving Off to the Sunset (or somewhere)

On this, totally futuristic moped
We are travelling, nowhere fast
The license, may already have been revoked
But we, are still having a complete blast

You can:

Mock us
Call us
Old folk
Elephant skins
What ever
You want

But:

We, still rule
We, just need
A little more fuel

And:

We still are very much so
Going, going, going,
And, gone!

Bye-bye!

Hard Times

“We’re horribly mundane, aggressively mundane individuals. We’re the ninjas of the mundane, you might say” Andy Partridge

hard-times

Hard Times

“Hard Times!”
The wall boldly stated

“Living on dimes!”
Sighing totally frustrated

Could this be, the sign of the times?

Only bland tasting cheap wines
Walking silently, the thin line
Avoiding, all them landmines
Solemnly remembering,
The good old times

But as long as everything rhymes
I think, I will be feeling, just fine

Sunnyside and the bench to sit on

“When on the sunny side, sit on a bench, and enjoy the warming rays” Gun Roswell

Sunnyside and the bench to sit on

When seated, on the sunny side of the bench

There is really no option, of getting drenched

Enjoying, the really long, and totally warming rays

In one these unworried and completely lazy days

Before the kind and gentle of days are done

Soaking it all in, under, the healing sun

With closed lid eyes, this one halted moment is spent

And then slowly turning into an image, which into my mind forever, is burnt

Saturday, spent with Cats

“Cats are the best kind of pets, always” Gun Roswell

Saturday, spent with Cats

When the world outside
Gets to be too much of a stride
There is one thing on you can rely
The cats of the furry kind

They don’t really ask too much
Once in a while a simple touch
The food to be delivered to their cups
And later on to coddle as such

A day well spent indoors
Even if you ignored much of them chores
For other wise life would be a total bore
If it wasn’t for the cats you so much adore

There’s no doubt about it: the Internet loves cats. And weird videos with people failing at some insanely basic tasks. But did you know quite a lot …

I’ve had very mixed feelings on Star Trek: Picard’s first season, which wrapped up last night (spoilers ahead). Certainly, there’s a lot to like …

Never, without my Coffee!

“Come into the dark side, we have, lots of different coffee”

Never, without my Coffee!

I freely, and out of guilt, admit it
I am, totally, and utterly, addicted
To the one finest organic suspension
One of the human existences’ greatest inventions

Coffee

If gets me up, in the too early morning
So read this, as a forewarning
To save yourself, from any kind of scorning
Do not, ever, get between me, and forever, my

Coffee

If you want your own day
To be completely inventive and stay
On top of the whole wide world
Life, ever so delightfully twirled

Coffee

So do, take my advice
Don’t ever, think twice
Pour yourself, a big cup of java
It totally beats the hell out of guava

Coffee

Your fellow human kind
Never, ever looked so fine
The world completely filled with love
If everyone, joined me, in a cup of

Coffee

What else can I say?
