Against the Wall

“Whether leaning against it, wailing for sorrow or perhaps just painting it in various colours, the wall made of bricks is still standing tall“ Gun Roswell

Against the Wall

Lean against it, you won’t fall, because this sturdy made wall of a thing, won’t let it happen, made long ago, built to last, those people from the past, knew you would need it, for the shelter, a cover from the harsh winds, or just a shade from the bright sun, or perhaps to a hideout, from whomever was on the look out, for the one who did not want to be found, standing their ground in the shadow of the tall wall, never to fall.

Bricked walls keeping us safe

“The walls are supposed to keep us all safe, but they can also divide us from the rest of the world, at least, so I have heard, perhaps it’s not so bad after all?“ Gun Roswell

Bricked walls keeping us safe

The ancient stones, dug from deep within the earth, just because, those builders from the past, knew well, that those stones, would so totally last. Erecting the walls of old school structures, making them safe and sound, without any interruptions, and now, even if those stone cutters are long gone, those stones or rather bricks they laid are still standing strong. And there is really nothing wrong, in wanting a monument left behind you, whether that be a statue, a thought or a even building, something of a reminder, of those people who dwelled in those structures, can still be seen inside the heavy built walls, or at least the spirit of them, lingering on, the good kind, or perhaps even haunted ones, still, it does not matter as even today, the people living inside of the walls are feeling safe from the outside dangers lurking, even if they might simply be the imaginary kind, but hey, staying inside, is also fine, especially, when living in history itself, what better place is there really to dwell in, than a bricked laid wall, never failing.

Climb up the tall stairway

“The stairs might seem long and steep and very heavy to get along on, but once you get up there, well, don’t come down! It’s easier that way ;p” Gun Roswell

Climb up the tall stairway

What will you do when you want to get up, really high, up there with the best, close to the skies?

Well, naturally, you will want to seek out the tallest and baddest stairs ever built, and then, start the climbing until you reach the top build.

But, if you are too irked or tired and are totally unable to climb?

Well, that too, is all just fine, as hey, you can always take the lift up to the very top too or then, if you are one of the lucky ones, then rocket boots are your option to fly!
Well, at least, in your fantasy inside your own mind, am I right!?

But, whatever the means will be, as you decide to get way up there, so close to the skies, it will be all just fine once you reach the very top.

Because as you are there, looking down at the small ants of people going about their lives, while towards godhood you thrive.

Well, we all have our own goals right?

Some of them reasonable while others, well, more on the side of the sci-fi!

Brick by brick

“Building something, brick by brick, well, isn’t that rather archaic? Or maybe not, who knows, just to what you feel is right, do it!” Gun Roswell

Brick by brick

Building something great and lasting, brick by brick, seeing the end result growing each time you lay another one on the top of the former, each time, the structure growing bigger, taller, wider and even stronger, is certainly something worthwhile. Something, which upon completion, is much more worth than a single smile. Well, at first, it might be that, then small celebration, of the arduous and long lasting job finished, and what was there accomplished. Maybe a wall of sorts, a fence around the house, to be safe? Maybe even the house itself? Some stairs to take you up and down wherever you were going? Or a small grill on the outside, in the garden to make something to eat. Whatever it is you will want to speak of it, to be proud of it as building something with your own hands, something which may or may not last, it is still quite the feat, even if a tiny cheat, while luring your neighbours and friends to aid in the process. But no matter how it got there, it will be for a while, and for all to admire, all them bricks on top of bricks.
