Climb up the tall stairway

“The stairs might seem long and steep and very heavy to get along on, but once you get up there, well, don’t come down! It’s easier that way ;p” Gun Roswell

Climb up the tall stairway

What will you do when you want to get up, really high, up there with the best, close to the skies?

Well, naturally, you will want to seek out the tallest and baddest stairs ever built, and then, start the climbing until you reach the top build.

But, if you are too irked or tired and are totally unable to climb?

Well, that too, is all just fine, as hey, you can always take the lift up to the very top too or then, if you are one of the lucky ones, then rocket boots are your option to fly!
Well, at least, in your fantasy inside your own mind, am I right!?

But, whatever the means will be, as you decide to get way up there, so close to the skies, it will be all just fine once you reach the very top.

Because as you are there, looking down at the small ants of people going about their lives, while towards godhood you thrive.

Well, we all have our own goals right?

Some of them reasonable while others, well, more on the side of the sci-fi!

Brick by brick

“Building something, brick by brick, well, isn’t that rather archaic? Or maybe not, who knows, just to what you feel is right, do it!” Gun Roswell

Brick by brick

Building something great and lasting, brick by brick, seeing the end result growing each time you lay another one on the top of the former, each time, the structure growing bigger, taller, wider and even stronger, is certainly something worthwhile. Something, which upon completion, is much more worth than a single smile. Well, at first, it might be that, then small celebration, of the arduous and long lasting job finished, and what was there accomplished. Maybe a wall of sorts, a fence around the house, to be safe? Maybe even the house itself? Some stairs to take you up and down wherever you were going? Or a small grill on the outside, in the garden to make something to eat. Whatever it is you will want to speak of it, to be proud of it as building something with your own hands, something which may or may not last, it is still quite the feat, even if a tiny cheat, while luring your neighbours and friends to aid in the process. But no matter how it got there, it will be for a while, and for all to admire, all them bricks on top of bricks.

“When in Finland, sit where the Finns do”

Take a Seat in Suomenlinna Fortress

Green Seat

A little lone seat
Painted in green
Out here in the heat
Maybe old fashioned
And a little compassion
Add some graffiti
And it’ll turn out neat!

Hurry, reserve that Seat!

“Hurry, hurry!
Someone will steal
That cool seat
And we’ll be left standing
On our two feet!”

Pink Cafe

Cafe in a pink house
Somewhere, thereabouts
Sit down, have a coffee
With a bun, laced with toffee

Seat in the Sunshine

Basking in the sunshine
Older seats created, before my time
Sit down, you’ll feel just fine
Relaxing is great, once in a while
Before you know it, your face in a smile
A memory lasting into your file

Hidden, from prying eyes
Passersby, never realize
How very near, yet so far
These cozy and comfy seats are

Plenty a sights to see, from the ruins of old to the more recent palm trees.
Early morning take off, with a huff and a puff and a scoff, we managed to catch the bus, without too much fuss.

A few stops on the way, to pick up many a stray, or possible tourists from the nearby village 😉
We were en route, the roads not so smooth, traffic heavy, especially when nearing the city.

Finally, arriving. One hour, in a minimalistic bus, where knees were hitting your chin, and barely managed to squeeze your derriere into the seat.
Now, finally free, to do as we please!

First stop, archeological digs! If we can only get across the heavy traffic street!
Eventually, reaching the site, reading the map, filling in the gaps and enjoying the views.

“Snap, snap, snap!”
Now I recorded that!
Nice memories to enjoy now and in the coming years.

Each ruin tells a story. What, who, why, when, can you picture from the remaining frame?
History unfolds, as now and for years told.

Midday: The sun burning on the skin, sweat pouring even from my chins!
What to do?
A light lunch, or call it a brunch?
After that, a fully packed afternoon, with fun filled adventure: So into the trenches, we are ready for more, what ever this town has in store!

Much later: the fortress has been thoroughly searched, for whatever secrets in there lurched.
Now, before heading home, or the borrowed accommodations, for this week’s station:
Shopping, shopping, shopping!
And then…
… to crown the day, a healthy can with sweet, sweet ice coffee inside! Oh what an joyous ride!
