Taking a peek through to the land of sunshine

“The sun is shining, on the other side, over there, across the sea, somewhere else but definitely not here“ Gun Roswell

There is sunshine, on the other side, the proof delivered by a witness, who dared to peek through the curtain, and then, after seeing the miracle, snapped the picture, as proof!

As of now, the summer is officially over, as September has just reared is ugly head and instead of getting a cooling down situation outside, the plummet in daily temperatures, not to mention all the down pour, has definitely not left any of us scored.

So, even after complaining about the whole too warm summer time, having lasted for such a short while, the winter season is upon, the sunshine, the warmth the greens, all but gone.

Luckily though, in the dreams and pictures, some of it can be relived, when huddling down frozen cold because of as was foretold, it is the season of rain and behold, soon enough – snow!

A beach view hidden

“Peekaboo, I see a sea view, from my hideout at the beach, perfection at reach” Gun Roswell

A beach view hidden

The most perfect place on the face of the earth was the only one searched for so long and hard, as the seeker smart relentlessly kept on going even of for a long time there was nothing worth showing. Until finally, one day, almost by accident stumbling upon the most magnificent display. That of a hidden beach, so totally secret and absolutely neat, the searcher most certain nothing in front of them visible now, could ever that defeat.

Carefully approaching the scene, as if in fear it would soon disappear. But that fear was unwarranted as the vision in front soon turned out to be even more than something used to spark ones imagination. Closing in on the long sought treasure both of the mind and heart, knowing the seeker needed to act smart. As disturbing the perfection and alerting others to this secret attraction was not intended and so, moving forward with caution was the only option.

Reaching the final barrier, and peeking behind the trees hiding the view for anyone to see. A moment spent in simply admiration and awe, still not sure what they saw, was real. But then courage kicking in and the final steps were taken. Landing on the untouched and sacred beach, was the end of the seekers trip and now settling there for a moment, enjoy the silence of the waves, then to a memory it all to save, before going back from once they came, life never going to be the same after having experienced, perfection.

Blue Shutters

“The blue on white, is like a flag of pride, whether the country home or foreign, the is nothing boring about the blues” Gun Roswell

Blue Shutters

The cool blue shutters, staving off the burning midday sunny rays, after all, even the walls are pained, only in whites to keep away, the scorching warmth of the ever present sunshine, even if most of us feel it is fine, as a few rays never harmed anyone, but the constant bombardment of them, could easily be causing some heart palpation, to those dwellers whom live behind the cooling blue painted shutters on top of the windows small of their home, standing in direct sunlight, all year long.

Peekaboo, I see me, on the beach

“It’s where I want to be, on a warm summers eve, or then basically any time of whatever, on the sunny beach” Gun Roswell

Peekaboo, I see me, on the beach

The day as long as eternity, the tasks never completed are churning me, but, when the moment arrives, when my thoughts are mine, I am finally feeling fine, as I see it, in my minds eye, the place where I want to be, when all of this, daily grind is done, and I can finally have some fun, and so, before that day is here, I live in my thoughts there, on the sandy shores, where life is such a bore, some say, but no chores is better you see, and when the only thing to do, is sit under the parasol and sip on a drink and watch the cool blue seas, as this is the place where I do flee, when free of daily life I want to be. Alas, only in my mind can I escape there, to the other side of the sphere, where all the beaches await, and nothing else but an escape from it all, is the only reward, and so, as I close my eyes, I can spy, in my mind’s eye the beach everyone always seeks, for this very same reason.

Peekaboo, I see you all

“Through the cracks and nooks and crannies, I observe these so called humans doing their thing” Gun Roswell

Peekaboo, I see you all

Always watching, always looking, forever observing, sometimes even learning, of the things they do, wrong or right, it does not matter, as there is more in the fight to be taught, than watching the simple life passing slowly by. And when the struggle is real, so are the things they all feel, hear and see, and after the battles are over, maybe some of them are stronger for it. But I cannot know that,  as I can only see what is going on, and from that, I can make a few educated guesses, of what the lessons here taught for me, could be. And with that knowledge stored in my memory banks I continue on my on going tasks, the arduous job of never ending as being the watcher all my time spending, and reporting all of it back, to the others still in their learning curve of all things in the universe. Because despite my position of being am observer of life, I am also a teacher of some kind, and hopefully all that which I am, will be used with total care and mistakes for the next ones to spare.

The Peekaboo Cat

“The curious cat will always be lurking around and checking things out“ Gun Roswell

The Peekaboo Cat

The cat who was always so curious peeking her head out from whatever corner or nook she could. She did not care about someone seeing her doing so nor was she easily scared. She simply liked to take a look, of whatever was going on and then she was hooked. She kept on watching life as it went by her, the other creatures doing their thing, living, learning, dancing, even some of them would sing. But, as time went on, she got as the others got old and one day, she realised much to her own dismay, that she had only watched life happening there, outside all those hideaways she liked in to dwell. Now as the interest was still there but she had done nothing to daring, not even showing her face to those others passing by in haste. Deciding today was that day, she was going to take part in the display, rather than simply hiding away. Taking a look from her nook, she slowly but surely took the first ever step, making her way to the light of the day and was surprised, as the others there, while seeing her for the very first time, simply smiled and told her: ?

Peekaboo

“Peekaboo, I see you!”

Peekaboo

From its current hiding
It comes out looking for something
But then suddenly backing
Never any answers giving or asking

Playing, toying, lurking
Peeking, checking, probing

You may try a tactic different today,
Then shout out:
“Hey, you there; why don’t you come out and play!?”

There is no way of knowing
Whether it’s coming or going
Whatever it has decided of doing
It is for sure, there will be a surprise

Laying low, until it’s time to blow
But for now, just taking it slow

And then: out of the blue:
“Peekaboo, I see you!”
