Standing Guard
Always there, always present, ever vigilant and alert, forever watching over those under their protection, and times passing do not change, the one single task, this one was for made.
But this was not always the case as in the very past, there was nobody there, watching over those in peril, as times were hard and without the guard, they could not defend themselves from whatever was coming their way, and never really able their heads in rest lay.
Then, someone with courage stepped forth, making sure, that all of those living under their court, would be protected against whatever their way just might have been thrown, and in those times, as in modern times too, there were lots of culprits totally bad to fend against, which is kind of sad.
And so, from that point on, this on guardian, the watcher of the dwelling below, would stand tall, even in the after life, having become a monument during the cause of time, the job of the guard will never be done, keeping the eye on those under their protection, even if it were to be someone staying only for while.

When travelling, whether near or far, usually, the nice thing to do I send out an update to all your family, either text or call, or like the new age dictates, post a social media photo, but whatever else the method might be, somewhere around the corner in a big or small town, you can find, the old school telephone boxes, waiting for someone to make the call. After all, you’ll only need a coin, archaic I know, but then with that one you can call, mum, or anyone else, to let them know, you are there, in the big city, travelling, doing your thing. So, in case you lost the phone you were carrying along all along, or then simply the ability to use the modern tech as a thing placing a call, then do make use of the flying machine of the one odd doctor from television, as in this case it’s painted in red so the vision of it should be pretty clear. Find it, make the call, hey thanks that was pretty tall of you!

Pubs and other types of establishments
The time of the year, when travelling becomes the norm, well, at least during the times of before, where the weary travellers would ride, fly or well, walk, long distances to get to the place they had in their dreams sought. And all that work, well, it can easily leave a mere mortal beyond their known powers, meaning tired, thirsty and hungry and then the best answer is to have some rest, take a load of and maybe a bite to eat and a few drinks, so what better place than the nearest hole in the wall, before down on the streets from exhaustion they might fall.
So, why not take up on this good advice and head on to the nearest establishment and get yourself some nourishment, it will not only leave you revitalised and refreshed, but the local tender of the bar or store, will earn their keep and have a better sleep in the process as people from all around the world are in need of their services. But during these new times, it might not be as fine to travel all around, but with moderation, I am sure the balance can be found all around.

Fish and chips, why not!
The trip to a near by land, the cities totally grand, all the museums, sights and other kinds of monuments around you would want to see them, while walking all around, alas even if it was all totally exiting and new and all worth the while, history unravelling right in front of the very eyes, one thing was certain. The constant presence of hunger, something which could not be satisfied with mere visionary and auditory pleasures. That of course was the hunger for sustenance.
So, what else was there to do, except to stop the expedition into the great unknown secrets of this land and then, to start browsing the offerings they had considering the gastronomical delights right there at every street corner, in the form of a tavern or a bar, as you really did not have to walk that far to find one establishment serving foods beyond this galaxy!
Sorting through the various menus while browsing the food courts windows, the multitude of what is available for the digestive system is something to be reckoned with. This big city with all its treasures, certainly has the food enthusiastic on their toes as there are so many things to choose from. Alas, then something interesting catches the weary travellers eye, taking it as a sign!

This must be a heavens sent and so, the choice is quite obvious, as a delicious dish for fish and chips soon will be ordered.

There really is no time for boredom
The options are endless, and even if you spend less
You can find all that you seek, just within reach
Either do a quick walk to the down town of the city
Or hop on a bus, and drive along to watch the nitty-gritty
As this city, certainly has it all, packages small or tall

And you’ll be simply fine
Eyes wide and totally open
You will be seeing more than hoping
And then, in the evening
You will be totally dreaming
Of the how much more

Watching, over the rooftops
Looking for the hustle and bustle
Of the streets of London
And it seems, that in just a few hops
A few old and bold like castles
And perhaps a famous dungeon
Can be seen without much of an effort
So, just hop on a bus
Without too much fuss
For them all to experience…

A few raindrops will not be able to do any harm
And not even, a small rain filled storm
Will be able to keep me away
