“The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever” Jacques Yves Cousteau
By the Seashore
I still remember
That one September
The bluest of skies
And it was warmer than July
The water clear and inviting
The air soft and delighting
Not a worry in sight
Everything quite right
In the distance
For an instance
A boat or two
Disappearing from the view
Most tourists already gone
Leaving us alone
Enjoying in peace
With a short lease
The last rays of summer

Love the pictures and the poem.

Evia is a special place, so I was lucky: it was always cloudy, but sunshine and the effects were done by nature 🙂

Seashore photos are my favourite. My sister lives on Cortes Island in British Columbia – talk about beautiful seascapes! You’re right that it casts a spell. It’s a feeling that hard to describe even for a writer. Keep on Ranting..
