Ode to Flowers

Oh delicate flower
Quite the power
You have on
Us mere mortals
Shining in the sun
In the colours of purple
Yellow, red and blue
Quite the view
When full in bloom
Before the doom
Of withering away
But some day
You will rise again
And lessen our pain
With your marvel
When shining like marble
