October: The month of wellingtons and mackintoshes
Photography and Poetry

“Now Autumn’s fire burns slowly along the woods and day by day the dead leaves fall and melt” William Allingham
The End of Colour
This is the end of colour
Of the pain and sorrow!
The October rain
Finally came
Lashed down the leaves
Now it’s just heaps
Of gray on the ground
No colour to be found
It is the end of colour

Such colorful beauty in this portfolio and the last one perfectly sums it up

Thanks! Seems the nature is finally loosing battle against winter, but then again, I am looking forward to some snowy photos too 😉

I miss snow. After 3 years in the tropics, my fondest memory of my home is walking in a park shortly after a blizzard. How I wish I’d carried a camera then.
