In honour of the month of November and beginning of Winter
Poetry, Photography, Song
“Winter is a season of recovery and preparation” Paul Theroux
Sunday, 22nd of November, Part One
On the 22nd day of November
The snow fall finally came
And one centigrade of minus degrees
The white dust on the ground
Everywhere to be found
Where the heck is my car
Couldn’t have left it far
Grabbed the snow shovel
Moving my muscles
Soon the path is clear
Feeling like a pioneer
On the 22nd day of November
The icy cold rain
Hit the bloody plane
Due to one centigrade of minus degrees
I just hope the roads won’t ice over
Or I’ll be prancing like a four leaf clover
Trying to cross the roads
In the early morning hours
On my way to work
Trying not to go berserk
When it’s really dark
Only dogs will bark
On the 22nd day of November
The snow fall finally came
The icy cold rain
Hit the bloody plane
Due to one centigrade of minus degrees

This is me. Doing your delightful post backwards!

The first thing I think when I see the forecast is yuck! But I work outside. We had first tiny flakes last night here. I’m about to start a fire
