Photography and Poetry

“August, the summer’s last messenger of misery, is a hollow actor” Henry Rollins
Last Days of Summer
The end of August
Time to adjust
To the coming of Fall
No use trying to stall
The cold and rain
Will soon gain
The sun rays are few
Feelings of blue
Until the foliage
In multiple colours
Will brighten the days
Get you out of the haze
And life is bright
Once more

Love the pictures.

We share the same feelings. And your words and photography are the best representation of what is coming soon!

Thank you kindly 🙂 Despite the end of summer, I cannot wait for the Autumn colours to appear!

Using B&W for the photos really works well with your poem. My favorite is the second one of the boats.
